This is such a moving, beautiful dance. It brings tears to my eyes. I've watched it several times because I can't get over it. Definitely a dance that will always stick out in my mind. You definitely portrayed fusion the way it should be portrayed and that's hard to find. This is so powerful and haunting to me.

I beleive this is the future of Belly Dance, .. interlocking the traditional belly dance expressions with various types of music.

I was literally moved to a suspicious wetness in my eyes. You are a dancer in the truest sense of the word - your body seems to move with the sole purpose of making the music visible. No adornments, no fancy lighting, no nothing but you and the music and what it makes you feel. Brilliant. You took a risk and it took off and flew.

Lately, I have been so disappointed by most tribal "fusion" - there's not context, just someone throwing together a costume they like and some belly dance movements, often so few of them that it can barely be called belly dance anymore. THIS is what fusion should look like - purposeful, with intent, graceful and beautiful, and respectful to the genres fused. Amazing!
