  • @rebelqueen67 yeah its in the soundtrack

  • A legend who hasen't missed a beat. Rock and Roll just wouldn't be what it is today without her profound influence. It is heartwarming to know that she is at a point to know that appreciation. Love ya Wanda!

  • Oh, CONGRATULATIONS to the singer, the band and the uploader for these SO SENSITIVE LYRICS:

WELL I BEEN TO NAGASAKI, HIROSHIMA TOO

THE THINGS I DID TO THEM

BABY I CAN DO TO YOU

WELL I USED TO SAY I'M CRAZY

    BOTH DEAF AND DUMB

    BUT I CAN CAUSE DESTRUCTION

    JUST LIKE AN ATOM BOMB

    For pity's sake WAKE UP!!!!

  • @morganfjp get a sense of irony. this is a very popular song in japan,

  • @thebannie Wanda says herself on another YouTube video that the Japanese probably don't understand what she's singing about. Apart from sitting back and trying to rationalise this song, why not try actually singing those words yourself and see if any emotional reaction happens to you. I sure hope it does. If not, do you fancy making up a catchy little number about Auschwitz too? And believe me I am not a serious guy, even if I did overdo the caps in my last comment! I love rockabilly!

  • @morganfjp you underestimate the japanese if you think they don't understand english.

  • @thebannie umm, I have lived in Tokyo 26 years. And you?

  • @morganfjp Perhaps you should ask around and see if anyone remembers it from the 50's. I'd be curious to know.

  • @thebannie do you always stutter when you talk? i don't think the americans did anything in auschwitz unless there is something they haven't told us. fujiyama is a great song, not PC, but there you go.

  • Love it Woo Hoo!!! This is MY SONG!! She's great. I can't wait till her new album produced by Jack White comes out! She has a mean growl....VERY unique! Rockabilly Queen♔ ♕ ♚ ♛

    So a party was born.

  • I really admire this woman! She sounds as good as she did back in the day! Rock on Wanda! Rock on!!

  • Saw Wanda last night at Skippers Smokehouse in Tampa last night. She was the headliner at

a Rockabilly celebration. She's a beautiful lady and she can still entertain with the best of them.

  • Wanda I Love You!! Always!

  • I have fuckin ate dinner with her!

  • this woman shaped my music career as a singer. as a young girl I fell in love with her followed by Connie Smith and lacy j dalton.

    fantastic stuff

  • The only crime commited at this show was the band not learning the song.

    Wanda sMoKeS!!!!

  • I am a great fan of Wanda's but I have always felt that this song's tasteless references to the horrific bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did her no credit at all.

  • That's true, but did you know that this song was actually a huge hit for Wanda in Japan in the fifties, just a decade after the war. Seems kinda strange?

  • Hi dallaswhiskey. Yes I was aware of this fact. I can only guess that the Japanese fans didn't fully understand the lyrics. A rock song with a Japanese title would have had some novelty then. I can understand how the song first became popular in the USA due to post-war euphoria. However, the world has moved on(I hope)since then and I could never understand Wanda's continued performances of a song with such a frivolous regard to the annihilation of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

  • If the country of Japan has no problem with the song, and it still doesn't...neither should you! It's just a song, not a political statement. By the way, do you remember Pearl Harbor?

  • At a time when ya wish the Rolling Stones would just ... give up. WANDA ROCKS SO HARD. I'm awe-stricken.

  • always the best <3
