I am a great fan of Wanda's but I have always felt that this song's tasteless references to the horrific bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did her no credit at all.

Hi dallaswhiskey. Yes I was aware of this fact. I can only guess that the Japanese fans didn't fully understand the lyrics. A rock song with a Japanese title would have had some novelty then. I can understand how the song first became popular in the USA due to post-war euphoria. However, the world has moved on(I hope)since then and I could never understand Wanda's continued performances of a song with such a frivolous regard to the annihilation of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
