  • this band along with tora tora, sleez beez and many others made the 80s-90s worth living

  • This song was dedicated to Alice Cooper.

  • sux..

  • Good jams that make that summer day with the windows and top down that more special

  • he woke up the clown. never wake up the clown. too late.

  • Dangerous toys, hell yeah

  • Amen!! i agree with SpineDaz

  • another awesome band up their with great white

  • Anyone hear McMaster do vocals with Watchtower? They're different. I think this is him, they have different versions:

    Social Fears

    watch?v=JABb01O2RPE

  • i was 12 when this came out, still sounds new

  • fuck rihanna. dumb bitch cunt slut whore no talent piece of shit

  • dude i saw them in denver at bangles with junk yard dogs for 5 bucks what a fucking show

  • Saw them live in'91 with Judas Priest and Alice Cooper...Ironically enough this song is a tribute to Alice Cooper...Cooper album...Lace and Whiskey...This rocks...kick ass concert..miss those days...

  • Way to cool!!

  • pretty scary video!

  • this one is always on my ipod

  • @muckyduck64, I think you're right about them being a little late to the game, but I'd also say they were very hit or miss. Their best songs are incredible, but they didn't have enough of them. Scared and Queen of the Nile never get old.

  • @BBRex Yes them 2 songs are permently on Ipod forever. They got good songs. But like every band. A few ones shine brighter. Crazy how the good ones always got left on the album but never played on radio.

  • ... nostalgic. I remember when it was number one on the top 10 video countdown on MTV for a few weeks.

  • i got this on tape when it came out. sh+t i played it 100001 time, really great stuff!

  • @lostworldcomics i still have the tape haha

  • @lostworldcomics Me too dude. I met a girl recently in her early 30's. We were hanging out, and tossing down a few. Started playing "name that band" and she through this song on. Then she played KIX's Cold Blood. I through Testament's Return To Serenity at her and she knew it right of the bat. I'm going to try to marry her.

  • Hey man I think 4 people need to be scared

  • My brother in arms was friends with these guys. Joey Estrada, Austin, TX. USS STERETT- CG31! USN!

  • 1989 in NY Syracuse war memorial....i'm 45 To be young again!

  • Hard for Austin to break into the L.A. scene back then but these guys were paying dues way before grunge. Personally, I chose Agony Column over Nirvana...

  • This song. Day,night to day no sancturary

  • guess i'm gonna need a vodka quick ..... i love these guys!!! straight up texas blues rock! i hung out with jason (singer) traci guns, and anthony corder (singer for tora tora) back in like 88 or 89 up in utic ny, out in the back of the stanley performing arts center. when "toys" la guns and tora tora all played together there!

  • man, i really, really think really think that i think...this song has redundant lyrics.

  • My absolute favorite Halloween Tune. (No disrespect intended) This is and always will be the very best way to play guitars..drums...bass ...vocals!!!!! I really hate it when people type the lyrics in a comment. But.. I can't help it tubers...Man I really think, really think, that i think I like being scarrrreedddd. 0====):::::::::::::::::::::::>

  • Saw these dudes at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas back in the 80's. Good Texas rock n roll.

  • well i played in this band at back stage in houston texas we hade a fucking blast

  • Were these guys big?

  • @GrapeFlavor12 Their self titled album went gold in '89, and I can remember "Teas'n Pleas'n" and "Scared" getting fairly steady rotation on MTV and rock radio from '89 to say '91 or so. "Scared" was also popular around Halloween into the early '90s. Kind of an odd band because their sound is Southern hard rock while their look is closer to hair metal. Then again that whole '89-'91 window was kind of weird, hard to explain if you weren't there.

  • @GrapeFlavor12 nah, never became huge. 2nd album flopped. i bought this album new. just got it on itunes. good 80's rock record.

  • @GrapeFlavor12 These guys were discovered too late in the game to hit it big. At the time this record hit the shelves hair metal was already being pushed out the door by the grunge movement. Teas'n Pleas'n and Scared would wind up being their only " minor " hits. It didn't help that they kept changing guitarists either. Unreal that they stuck it out and are still touring - with the original group members too.

  • wikipedia random article brought me here.

  • @cheerbear237 i no dude who cares about those shows yo no its all bull shit

  • One of my favorite songs of the 80's

  • Still as ass kickin...could be put on radio now a days. All the best songs are that way...

  • Man I really really think really think that I think I love this song!!!!

  • I haven't seen this since it was on Headbanger's Ball

  • Man... these guys were great!! Good time fun party rock!!!!!! I MISS THIS KIND OF MUSIC!!!

  • One of my all time favourite songs from a killer band. Dangerous Toys are so underrated.

  • Think if they would of made more songs like this they would have made it bigger. Little too much screaming but that was the hair band way. They werent that good at it. Their music was outstanding!!!

  • 3 people will be checking under their bed for the boogie man tonight. lol

  • reminds me of when i was in highschool i listened to this song to get pumped before working in haunted houses, dangerous toys rock!

  • This band is the SHIT,guitar guitar guitar, love it!

  • This is my fave song by Dangerous Toys, and a cool video too; still have never seen anything as surreal as a guy's head coming out of a pan on a stove. Gotta take a few cool points away from the singer, though, for wearing suspenders AND a belt, even though he tried to hide the suspenders under the shirt.

  • fuckin classic i was 19 in 1989 i remember i was in prison and this was on the mtv top video countdown along with skid row-i remember you bang tango-someone like you warrant down boys and danger danger bang bang and naughty naughty

  • kill me some 1 please

  • Ok, In my opinion, 2 Really Good things have come from Texas, Dangerous Toys & Pantera. With that said,Thanks a bunch for the post

  • @THEATREofPAIN270 i agree, my variety consists of hair metal, thrash metal, and death metal, you just gotta find the good bands in each genre and dangerous toys is a siiick hair band

  • @LordXViper Dangerous Toys self titled album Dangerous Toys is such an underated album it makes me sick. The whole thing rocks. I grew up in a city where there were more metal heads than anything else & when I wore my DT shirt they were like who the hell are they. My reply, Spark one up, listen and learn you posers. LOL. Anyway, I agree, A variety is a good thing, Find what you like and jam on. Have a great one Dude. (or Dudette..

  • good video and song

  • man!!!! so many memories with this song!!!!!

  • I am surprised there is only 3 dislikes. I thought the teeny-boppers would have found us out. Cool, stay away, this is our METAL!

  • @cheerbear237 forget mtv, fuse, and vh1. they all play rap and pop now. media hates true rock n roll now days. even vh1 classic plays a bunch of bs. but vh1 classic does play something good sometimes.

  • 145,000 views??? WTF! this is sum good shit

  • this guy look like tori amos!

  • I saw Toys open for Alice Coopper and Priest in June of 1991 and they put on a hell of a show, of only for the 30 minutes they had.

  • @epistte i got to see them twice, once opening for the cult and once opening for l.a. guns. they did put on a great show in the limited time they had.

  • @XXfaithlaineXX If I may, According to Eddie Trunk on THAT METAL SHOW, Dangerous Toys tours and performs about 12 times per year, With jason doing alot of his solo stuff as well. Have a Great one....

  • 2 people like being scared

  • @Shawman465 terrible example... if Toys like bein scared than its obviously a good thing...

  • My card is good (I think). Not all videos are choppy. I think they pick and choose

  • One of my favorite 80s rock songs. It came at the end of the glam era and kinda got bypassed a little bit but it was an awesome song from a really good band.

  • I LOVE those pants. I'm a lead singer of a glam metal-esque band in Texas, and I'd totally wear those pants if they were available.

  • Lady Gaga should cover this!!!!! LET'S GET GAGA TO COVER THIS!!!

  • @PopCulture20 Are you f ing serious? Why would anybody want to hear her butcher a good song? She sucks dude!

  • Who is the man in the white vest?

i'm getting nervous, becoming a mess

is he the doctor's man to take me away?

or the same damn demon from yesterday?

    waking up is virtually impossible

something in this story won't let me go

  • these guys were all hot

  • Hearing and SEEING this for the first time makes me feel so good. All those wasted years in the 80's. Great bands and scrappy ones. This one is still amazing!

  • ohh yesss, Dangerous Toys kicks serious assssss!!!!!

  • @1jgunner I must have blinked cause I missed 8 tracks.

  • @kurtlovato I love this ole vid too, but GnR dropped in 87 2years before this

  • @kurtlovato you need to learn your music man! Guns N Roses formed in 1985, Live like a Suicide came out in 86 and Appetite in 87! this song came out in 89! Axl was already doin this long before Jason was.

Showing my age (38) but this was a part of the soundtrack to my life and the good times!!! and just wondering how many of you use to sing out loud to that vocal break right before the end? I KNOW I DID

  • @metalironbird Hell ya bro! My band back then played this song, teasin and outlaw... and we all went to see them in Eugene Oregon with Tora Tora and La guns, one of the best fucking shows ever!!! I have the clown Tattooed on my back even I loved these guys...

  • @metalironbird This is my favorite off this album too...MTV Blows and has for along time. Bring back the old days of MTV when it was actually good.

  • @metalironbird Im with ya man.. I saw the lead singer Jason Mcmasters a while back and he was still rockin. Some dont know but texas country guy Kevin Fowler played guitar and backing vocals for a few years.. :)

  • @metalironbird Hell yes I love this song. I still remember "finding" DT at Front Row records in Jacksonville Illinois summer of 89. This was indeed soundtrack to our summer.

  • jason is a really cool guy. me and my friend hung out with him a ship rocked cruise. he played mini golf with us.hah

  • I got caught singing/howling McMasters outro vocals from 3:25 on, in my semi the other day. At a stop light. I ruled, but it was embarassing. At least i thought i was rulin', i dunno. The jury is still out.

  • wth is with the justin bieber iphone to the left of the vid thats so gay

  • @utuben55 Haha he should just take it off :P

  • I wanna know why the lead singer is wearing an AC/DC shirt. That really annoys me. Lol

  • @CallGirl976

That's what I thought as well.

  • Weird... The adds are a higher quality resolution than the video itself 0.o And i thought the world was already fucked up enough.

  • @lolojoe101 the adds are new.the video is over 20 years old.

  • This song was for the soundtrack to a Wes Craven movie "Shocker". Great film

  • @jamesebud Demon bell was the song for shocker soundtrack...both are good songs though.

  • I love this song but this vevo crap is taking 4ever to load and I hate commercials!!!

  • Just bought this album on Amazon. The vocal work on this track is mind boggling especially at the very end of the song. Amazing guitar work and a well-rounded sound from an amazing band that is no more.

  • megaton118, It has nothing to do with the video card; it's only happened since youtube switched to this VEVO crap. Not sure what they are going for, but it really does suck. I realize it's free, blah, blah, blah, but they aren't helping themselves with the slowness.

  • It's on Amazon.

  • cant find the dam album anywhere...

  • or your video card is out of date, and needs an upgrade. i haven't had any problems watching any videos.

  • @megaton118 Thanks from going totally awesome to fucking retard corporate commercial bullshit

YOUTUBE!!!! FUCK YOU TUBE AND YOUR COPORATE BULlSHIT!

  • Youtube destroys so many videos when they choke off bandwidth. Wonder why your videos are choppy and suddenly stop every five seconds? That's because Youtube thinks home videos of kittens taking a dumb is more important than quality music. Bandwidth for everything else is non-essential. The "caching to play" videos has become intolerable.
