  • I'm a progressive and I like Ron Paul, but I hate the tea party.

  • Ron Paul bitch slaps Rachel Maddow's lies

  • Palin telling what you should do to be smart. . . . . there is something wrong with this concept.

Palin 2012 -- the world is supposed to end anyway.

  • It should'nt be weird that Ron Paul is one of the few politicians that doesn't really talk in circles and avoids questions. It's unfortunate that most politicians, and their ability to get in the white house is controlled by corporate lobbyists.

  • I like Ron Paul because he is consistent and was shamed by the tinfoil troopers who are obsessed with 9/11 and bashed by most and he called out the tea party psyops as well... after Palin and the other retarded hicks hijacked it... and I was far left for years and like this guy more than most politicians...

Rand Paul however, smells like a neo-con war pig to me... more in the Palin spectrum and I dont trust him... the Palins and Clintons and Obamas and other power names are just ™ and fake...

  • @HerrSpieldose like and trust however are not the same thing...

  • MadCow using Paul against the Tea Party. pure dykedom :))

  • the senior most spokesman for man

  • funny always Ron is the same but the journalists and news people change their tone over time...

  • Ever notice how talking heads (left and right) seem to contain themselves a bit more when Ron Paul is on?

I wish more politicians acted with the honesty and civility of Dr. Paul.

  • @SirCBJackson Except Hannity. Im not a fox basher. Hannity tried to be his usual pushy ,rude & arrogant self & RP owned him. the vids out there on yt somewhere!

  • I love Rand Paul and Ron Paul. Cut all government spending - military, corporate bailouts, bureaucracy, you name it. But I do not agree on the abortion. Pro-choice 100%

  • @regusted just say what you really mean. if abortion were not such an ugly dreadful thing, those defending it would not have had any reason to invent that deceptive term. "pro-choice" is a term used to make something very violent, barbaric, selfish, and sinister appear to be just a "choice" like any other choice. why is it important to you that one human being has a "right" to kill another ??

  • RON PAUL 2012!

  • I showed up at what was billed as a Tea Party. Turns out it was a group of homosexuals dipping their testicles into each other's mouths. I got outta there FAST!

  • WoW, Ron Paul was able to complete his sentences without any interuptions on MSNBC. Cheers to MSNBC, I am glad they are finally listening to the people. Hope this trend continues.

  • NEO-CON gets the republican nomination there will be NO republican president in 2012! Ron Paul gets the republican nomination then Ron Paul will be the next president!

  • What a fool. Why doesn't she site one example of spray painting? I'm not saying there was none whatsoever, but I never saw it and I was around the movement. She makes it sound like vandalism was part of the RPR culture like some of the left-wing movements. Hanging signs is not graffiti!

  • Ron Paul is one of the only people left in politics that knows what conservatism even means. His own movement's been taken over by crazy fringe demagogues, was spat on by the conservative mainstream until after a BLACK president is elected, and even now is being shoved around by the very people he empowered and inspired. If I were him, I'd go Independent or even hop parties by now because it's clear his own party and own side has forgotten what the fuck it all stands for.

  • @Deioth my parents and adult family are part of that "fringe"; their children are RP supporters. RP is a principled idealist (nothing wrong with that), which is why right-leaning young people love him. "conservatism" is largely a reactionary movement that began in the 70s when real wages began to decline while the economy roared along. that "fringe" has real grievances, they're just being hoodwinked. When RP calls to end the drugwar, the "fringe" becomes confused about who their enemy is.

  • The problem with people in general but conservatives in particular is that politicals from media to congressmen that are right wing exploit their fears and label enemies instead if explaining the problems and searching for solutions. I have no doubt the tea partiers have some legitimate concerns, but the problem is I've yet to see them explain any concerns that have a basis in reality because Fox News and the GOP have stricken them with such fear that they're about ready to soil themselves.

  • So, the real question is -Why aren't these people being organized to engage democratic institutions rather than condemn them?- Make no mistake; there's a real "other" narrative at play on the other supposed side of the political spectrum as well! foxnews may encourage the tea party rage, but msnbc encourages its viewers to think the tp'ers are *insane*!! *they're not*!! and thinking they are, saying they are, only helps divide what could be a real threat to concentrated power!

  • Dude, wow, I'm sorry but considering most of the "tea partiers" and the republicans tripping over themselves to support them need only open their mouths to prove how insane they are long before Keith comments on why they're in World's Worst again or before Rachel Maddow spends another segment of her show proving how removed from reality they are, I think most people can see well enough on their own. They're all insane because prove it with their own actions and words, not because MSNBC said so.

  • the don't look as crazy on foxnews, dude. they have real grievances, and the only people giving them answers offer an *internal* logic. completely fallacious, but internally sound. when 2 groups with 90% shared interests are convinced by the powers that be that the other group is crazy and dangerous, who wins then?

  • Fox News is part of why they're insane, because Fox News is a fear mongering right-wing propagandist think tank. They're so convinced by these fake journalists and selfish bought-and-sold commentators that the moment someone calls them out, even if it's someone of their own side, they hiss and spit. I'm sorry, but a political movement based off of lies and fear instead of facts and reality is insane, especially given the fact they're almost entirely white and Christian and Obama is black.

  • you must choose between calling your potential ally insane and hoping to ever see anything change.

  • Umm, the problem is those people do not actually want change. I'm willing to bet a good portion of their anger is their inability to admit Bush the Son fucked this country about a dozen new assholes and they further are unwilling to admit conservatism isn't working if it's supporting small, apathetic government and a regulations lacking free market. You can't make allies with those who paint you the enemy just for not agreeing with them.

  • and with which brush do you paint them, and why? you've made that clear.

curious that you claim they don't want change, while they themselves claim they do.

again, you can either let go of the same malice you claim the "opposition" has, or you can continue to play into BigGov/BigMedia/BigBiz's hand.

  • I don't have malice for the tea partiers themselves and their supporters. I have pity for them that they've been brainwashed by the fear mongers and greedy fatholes who try to stop any attempts by the powers that be who seek an end to their asshattery and a betterment for the general populace at their expense. The Becks and Limbaughs and the Palins deserve scorn because they knowingly and willfully deceive people. The deceived, however, can only be pitied and, hopefully, reasoned with.

  • I guess I'm kind of beating a dead horse here...

..reason introduced by pity won't get very far. we are to be pitied every bit as much as the tp'ers; we have the SAME problems!

I think reason CAN work. for example, my mom and family are all devout Christians and tp'ers; when I talk with them, they ALL agree that healthcare is a moral issue before it is an economic one.

you can fit everything that seperates us from the TP in a snarky MSNBC segment. clue: that ain't much!!

    God bless, go forth.

  • If Health Care was truly a moral issue to the right wing in office, if they truly gave the slightest fuck about America and their values, we'd have had a Republican version of the House and Senate bills that laid out everything they felt should be done and how to do it. Instead, we're fed their "We want it, but the LIBERALS are going to destroy America!" bullshit and NO REPUBLICAN BILLS! TPers are so fucking scared and for all the wrong reasons. I wish they could wake up and smell reality...

  • If Health Care was truly a moral issue to the left wing in POWER, if they truly gave the slightest about America and their values, we'd have had real healthcare reform.

its ridiculous to assume that because elected officials don't really care about health care reform, their constituents don't.

I don't think it's only the TP that's scared. people express fear in all kinds of ways. often, through anger.

your mind is clearly made up. When you're open to the idea of (R)'s being human, lemme know.

  • When you come of political age to watch Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld FUCK this country with their "Kill the middle class and hate anyone not white and Christian" politics that pass for conservatism these days, you'd hate the right wing too. Don't get me wrong, i think the democrats are spineless idiots who couldn't stand up to a blind, clawless kitten, but watching mainstream conservatism nearly destroy this country only to have the right wing act like it wasn't their fault PISSES ME OFF.

  • I'll be open to republicans being human when they prove they are human and not this disgusting mess of double standards, lies, hate mongering, fear mongering, and "Us VS Them" attitude. I am an independent moderate and I try to listen to both sides, but when one clearly will lie with a straight face about anything and everything to scare their constituents and party members absolutely shitless into opposing an actual step forward, as stumbly and dimwitted as it may be, then they can go to hell.

  • The purpose of the Tea Party is to oppose. Not to come up with solutions.

It just so happens that the conservatives in general need an enemy. So, yes you are correct this "labeling enemies" fits perfectly.

    watch?v=lUPMjC9mq5Y

  • Yeah, gizmo2084, that's exactly what I mean and what I'm explaining to walterm85. These people are good people who want what's best for themselves, their loved ones, and their country, but they're so beyond brainwashed and lost by the lies and propaganda of Fox News and other right-wing media and the republican party that they are unable to open their eyes.

And for the record the expressions of their Christianity scares the crap out of me. Why must conservatism equate to theocratism?
