  • @HKChigger thanks for response! My base HD has a bad sector, so have to repace the entire thing. Apple wants $185 for installing just 500gb. Figure, just do it myself. Thanks again, and thanks for the video. Happy New Year!

  • Question...how does it run with your 2tb? Any overheating? Also, do you recommend a 64mb cache, or will that get to hot for this specific model. I'm looking to install a 2tb on the same machine, but dont want to push power consumption too far.

  • @shiloharts I didn't have any more heating issues with a 2TB than with the base model. iMac's tend to be warm though, so take care of them. Granted I am using macs in a hot country, so that could be part of the reason they seem to always be warm. I didn't use 64mb cache though, I was still 32mb from memory. (Traveling right now, so can't check)

  • dit is waarschijnlijk de slechtste how to die ik ooit heb gezien

  • he is not a good person for teaching. why the fuck is he fast forwarding and it is just too vague

  • o hai

  • dude ur a smuge jerk dont want to listen to you

  • Great job. Thanks.

  • 2.5 minutes of blah blah then u rush thru the install? Lol thanks anyway :)

  • Does opening the iMac voids the warranty ?

  • where can i get your wallpaper you were using in this video bro?

  • Decent video, but why do you go on and on for the first 2:36?

  • my 1TB hard drive is coming this monday i have the same computer thanks for this video i would of got the 2TB but it costs to much

  • lol i do fine with a 250gb ><

  • ......oh hi!

  • definitely a useful vid. I have the 20", and while i have about a hundred or so gigs left, i want to put windows 7 with bootcamp on here, but not until i upgrade this hdd. want to go 1TB at a minimum. I downloaded your video onto my iphone so i can reference it in case something goes wrong during the process. the isight and temp cables are apparently the biggest threat.

  • Would you be able to upgrade the optical drive in this machine the same way? say you wanted to install a blu-ray machine? or does mac not support that yet?

    How about upgrading the processer?

  • Nice video...

  • @MadRider31 Thanks a lot!
