I'm curious how cool that peltier device actually gets. How did you get it to work in such a small space? The only way I've gotten even a reasonable amount of cooling out of one was to strap it to a huge cpu heatsink/fan and pump 8 amps to it!
I ran 5v at 2 amps into the peltier. It doesn't get very cool. I took the heatsink that came with it and unfolded the stamped aluminum, so it was flat on the bottom of the tray. This works better as a warmer with the MCU's
I Still prefer to use my C=64 Brick power supply for heating though, its a smoother heating, doesnt RAMP up to hot it also goes through a "Warm phase" and a "Melting the plastic phase" before it gets to the "Melts into the carpet phase"
