@noobaxe I read somewhere that the song is about a man who still love his ex-girlfriend, but she don't. He wants to be with her so much that he obligates her to have sex with him (Sehnsucht ist so grausam-Sehnsucht can also means "desir"). The Mexico would means the female sex (Mexico is at the "south" of the earth=sex is at the south of a body). The "big bird" would means his penis. He "searchs for the last year's sand" in her legs (the desir she had for him), "but there is no sand anymore".
