i also combined alot of my dreads that go along my hairline in the front.. they have loc'd together. My question is has anybody ever cut off one of the extra bottoms i dont like the look of having 2 dreads that form into 1
@theboiYo@theboiYo yea i realized small locs around the hairline aint gonna cut it...but i heard cutting one of the dreads of a 2 headed dragon arent good..but i dont see how it could...i dont mind them though..gives some personality to my locs
locs lookin good bruh congrats on making a year and 4 months, your locs have really sprouted and man you will good luck with finding another good job bruh also us dreadhead going to be iight we just gotta stick together ya digg. oh yea for the skinny joint i had one on the side like that but foreal in time it like feels out over time...also you can take some new growth from another like and add it to that one...but yeah man your joints straight
@wcc181 i really only rock the headband after i wash/rinse em but imma chill out cuz i been thinkin thats not helping any...but good look on the black castor oil and aloe vera plant gel...imma have to cop some this weekend
@MrKnowItAll301 you can actually retwist with the aloe plants gels which is 100% organic and is food for your haor. The jamician black castor oil is good but a little goes a long way on that...i believe its like 9 bucks on amazon
You can always put some black castor oil on your thin locs to help with the thinning or you can go to your local lowes and buy yourself a aloe vera plant and use the gel that comes from the plant on your scalp its great for your hair and all natural.
I have some thinning in my hairline too...and you are right about the locticians twisting them too tightly...I twist them myself for the most part...good luck in finding a new job...I'm looking too
@TheTruPoet hopefully we both find something we both enjoy doing and pays right...this economy is crazy...i think conditioner will help with breaking so i'll do that more often
@MrKnowItAll301 Thanks...that so crazy ppl say that to me often. Good luck on finding a gig in Info Tech. Im sure u'll find something. Programming and helpdesk is a comptetive field.
@MrKnowItAll301 Moving down south is not much better. I am in Ga and its been mad cold here fasho for some reason. Maybe Fl would be better. I can't stand the hair in my face esp when I need a retwist. I wear my band a lot and my loctician saw I was wearing the it too much because it seemed to be thinning, so I am going to stop wearing it so much. But hey, that's the price we have to pay....I guess.
hang in there bruh, ya locks comin into they own :P i got some thin ones that im tryna get back thicker, what are some otha ways u can get em thinker? ive had ma hair for almost 3 years an still dooont knoow lol
@stunta567890 thats crazy u 3 yrs in and still learnin...thats wussup tho...they say locs are a lifestyle so i guess they'll keep teaching u things about your hair...cant wait til i get that serious length! thanks for watchin man
I hear you about loctician being kind of harsh i decided to twist my hair from more often too plus that 60 dollars adds up quick but about the thinning i have the same problems with a few dreads i was told once they start maturing more it should be ok so i guess i'll just wait and see, the growth is serious by the way
@RayVonTv1 man the good loctitian started charging 70...aint messin wit that lol...the other was 45 but she was kinda rough...so yea imma b like u and retwist my self...i was waiting for some to "mature" but they didnt really thicken up too much and some are still thin...so imma just combine
@SHAQD85 appreciate the encouragement...i been thinkin bout cuttin em espsecially since im job hunting...but imma stick it out at least to my 2 yr mark
@MrKnowItAll301 nothing yet but i jus started over again but in my first loc journey i noticed the same things u were saying and i didnt condition try somthing natural if possible peace

Also maybe you should stop wearing headbands because that can cause stress on the hairline if its too tight.
