@sonic4everpeople Keep in mind that it's often not one long take though. He's factoring in trial and error that we never see in the finished videos. For instance, how many times has Zack said "I tried it one way, but ended up doing it this way instead" while only showing one build? That means he spent a bunch of time on a failed build that is never shown on camera (or only shown for a second).

So far the only recent live action movie that was filmed in 3D was Avitar. now CG movies are really easy to make in 'real' or 'sterioscopic' 3D because the camera is virtual.

I love these behind the scenes talks you guys do, deffinitely a nice break once and a while. I was wondering if you guys could explain how to build a set of digi-grade stilts (like those used in the underworld movies) that give that beast-like leg look There are tutorials out there, but they are not the clearest, specifically when it comes to measurements. BFX already made Werewolf makeup, fur suits, and claws, so this effect would complete the whole werewolf series. Thanks!

im so glad you told us the equipment that you use, ive been looking for a really good camera for under £1000, and you told me 2 lol, ill be buying the canon 7d. also a question which im sure someone can answer. i noticed that dan's audio gear was being recorded through a zoom hn4, seperately to the camera, do they sinc the audio to the video using a clapper board, or is there another way? great video, love these talk videos you do with the crew, cant wait for more!
