Nice! But...at what cost? Is it worth TWO MILLION POUNDS ANNUALLY to fly it? Vulcan Operating Co told Lottery that airshow fees would pay all costs for sustained operations. Now, we're finding out that's not true. Sorry, guys, but TWO MILLION POUNDS ANNUALLY was never gonna come from airshow fees. A blind man couldda seen that before you started. I seem to recall the RAF retired it because, aside from being old, it was also EXPENSIVE TO OPERATE. VulcantotheHANGAR!

I was absolutely GUTTED that it didn't fly on Sunday when I went up there. The Typhoon, 747 and Red Arrows softened the blow somewhat.
What a noise this thing makes, there's nothing like it. Even through the internet the Vulcan is trying to kill my laptop speakers!
