Put the A.I.'s on a higher difficulty then they will drive faster and much more realistic. I know what you mean as far as when at a large turn they practially stop in the road when all they would really need to do is tap the brake.
AI is set to max brother, I am still significantly faster, some corners you can go flat out yet they for some reason break, good example is turn 2 at this circuit.

No, its not awful (take note to the correct spelling) at all. It's driving fully manual with all assists off with force feedback set to max.
As I said regarding my start, that was because I was not ready (talking to people).
The hitting of cars aggressively (note another correction on spelling) is because its single player and the CPU's drive like they have 3 wheels the main point of this video was to show the poor AI.

@RyansUps Ok fair comment about how slow that they race in single player and i agree,racing in cockpit view does make it that bit more difficult,but knowing how slow the cars are why not ajust your driving to suit,pass them on a straight and not into a corner as more often than not your going to hit them as your approch speed is that much greather than theres.
no affence your not that good of a driver. if you would follow a line and not crash people to over take them.i have no respect for people who cant drive in realistic racing games. you should go back to your need for speed most wanted where you belong.
The reason for the Lap 1, turn 1 crash was because I wasn't ready, if you noticed on turn 5 you can see I pulled extra wide to avoid hitting a car up my inside.
The reason for the crash at end of lap 1, was because I'm playing agains't computers and they took it FAR to slow (Im used to playing online) same goes for turn 4 and 5 on lap 2, look how stupidly early they break.
not bad, for assist off :-)
One tip though, shift down before the corners and not after :-)

I can drive it a hell of a lot better, yeah I normal downshift late, but these are too late. I dunno why but my shifting was awful in this video.

All I need to say really is look into F1 and the 107% Rule, all of the other cars fall considerably out of the range allowed.
