yeah i agree, 3d was around since i was a fetus, and only thing different is no glasses, but the annoyance of glasses was replaced by slim veiwing angle, i love my 3ds but i gotta say it didnt need the 3d to be great, matter o fact i ussually got the 3d slider off. but im sure the 3de quality is different of many games as nintendo has stated, and im sure eventually there will be a game that will make me insist on playing it in 3d

In real life, things are in 3D (obviously). More importantly, you can change what your eyes are zooming in on and bring that into clear focus.

With 3D movies, TV shows, and games, the studio has to decide what things are "in focus." So, when your eyes try to adjust because you're trying to zoom in on some random blurry object, but they can never bring it into focus, your brain and eyes get confused...

If 3D TVs or Games ever become super popular, I foresee a lot of future eye problems...

WoW movie,..m'yeah.

Generally, fantasy movies based on books or video games are in a word, crap.

So crap in fact, that you generally start to feel queasy just watching the horrible acting, the cruddy special effects and the retarded storyline.

Granted, with WoW, i doubt the budget is going to be an issue, and the franchise is so huge and so well known they could probably put together a decent cast, but chances are, it'll still suck. I'll still watch it obviously, but I'm not gonna like it!

Yeah Pokemon is an rpg, though almost like a pet simulator more these days (fashion show for Pokemon what?!) I would say the 90s generation equivalent to Nintendogs was Tamagotchi, damn thing just kept pooping it...it wouldn't stop...after awhile he started acting violent and distant, he wouldn't play anymore, nothing, then came the day when my heart broke, I came back from school only to find that my little guy had died and his little spirit had gone to Tamagotchi heaven. /end sob

Hey, curious if you have learned your lesson about 3DS yet.

First, I have yet to hear anybody playing the 3DS going cross eyed or getting tired after play.

And its been played in europe as well as at e3 now.

Second, the 3dtvs coming out do not work like the 3ds screens work, it is not the same and will not have the same issues

3dtvs wcan make people sick because the pictures are split all over going to your face where glasses separate them, 3ds screen already has images focused, so its better

@waltermh111 3ds screen has a few other advantages over the 3d you will find from glasses 3d, such as 3ds screen wont have the color issues or light issues.

I have yet to hear a bad thing about it except from the minority that have eye problems that affect everyday life.

Also, you can turn the 3d off if that bothers you and it will stop sending 2 images at a time, which is a genius move by nintendo.

Still, glassesless 3d needs a special screen which is rare on the market.

@googleslocik I have done the googling and apparently been doing more research than you, because no, 3d isnt alwys a strain on the eyes, and each method will have different affects on different people.

This type of 3d shouldnt have much more strain that real life does as it only mimics the way your eyes work with reality.

You should look into the new tech more before making asumptions based on old tech.

As for longer sittings, its a portable, your not supposed to be having super long sittings

Definitely a good idea to start with characters and build the story around them. I know that's how quite a few authors piece together some of their novels. Just throw scenarios and problems at your characters and figure out what they would do based on their personality and ability etc etc.

The problem that i see about the WoW movie is that it has a 99.99999999% chance of being through the alliance point of view. which means Horde will be the bad guys. and it'll probably mainly be about a human and a dwarf. don't get your hopes up
