As much as I like the Taylor, I wonder if your D-28 wouldnt offer a thicker warmer voicing. It would be cool if you could record the same version with it. Maybe?

You're right the sound would have been warmer, but the medium range for harmonics were pretty hard to catch on the Martin, that's why I did it with the Taylor.Again the mix isn't perfect I could have done better !

About the Martin, I had problems for that song because the Martin lacks of mediums and this Taylor had the right tone for the song especially for tap parts and some harmonic stuff.

I have much more difficulties on the Martin to play a song like this,

The Martin has a really warm sound, but it needs to be refretted.

This Taylor isn't mine, so that was for 1 song, next one is with the Martin again !

I've tried to diminish the "metallic" shape of the sound, but I didn't want to destroy the recording with too much manipulations, so I prefer to leave it that way, as long as it sounds ok.
