I don't understand how a train can go down the middle of the street when there are no tracks. Also, if the tracks were washed out at the frozen lake, how did they get home? And why was the conductor dragging that poor little black girl over the top of the train in a snow storm? Seems cruel punishment for a lost ticket. As for the poor kid (Billy), they should have left his sorry ass home. All he did was bitch and ignore everyone. I also think the elves were gay males dancing with each other

I love how it's so realistic. Not just the graphics, but they really showed how Christmas is. While other Christmas movies have to deal with just that same old stale plot and even the sack, it looks like it could just provide to 5 people. But in the Polar Express they thought everything out!

Those who don't believe is because they are hurting inside. Santa is real! He gave me a new home when I lost mine. Family and friends had nothing to do with it. Intact they couldn't even help me by letting me sleep on the floor, till one day this man I was helping out at work said to come by his house. He was looking for a renter. Four bedroom home in Friendly Hills Whittier CA for $1000 a month. What a gift. Thanks Santa.

@ivanxmahya I believe that they are using Santa as a metaphorical concept and that faith and trust is important.

I don't believe in Santa in fact when I was eight I went around trying to convince people in my class that he didn't exist, but he is based on a real man who was extremely charitable so in essence, this movie is teaching children the importance of friendship, having faith in happiness and helping those in need. It's a standard message, but very special. :)

@powergirl07 so do you think that santa is basically a historical figure? bcoz he did exist u said..if yes, why they made up story that beyond the true story. why can't they just portrait santa the way he was..?but, i can understand if it is a fairytale, because so many stories and fairytales that have some moral values in them.. the problem is, santa has become a religiously figure that related to christianity. my opinion, you cannot teach your children christianity based on a made up story..

@ivanxmahya Yes, he certainly was. I do wish that someone would create a film that is about the real St. Nicholas, but Santa is part of Christmas too.

About teaching Christianity, even Jesus used metaphors (the house on the rock etc) and they helped get the message across and you don't even need to be a Christian to understand this message and it is important to keep in mind that it was originally a pagan festival.
