@laredo300c The exhaust is "NOT STREET LEGAL" That term is really only used because you cant pass emissions. Reason being why cops pull you over is cause of noise ordinence. So again the term not street legal is only cause it cannot pass emissions.

i love how when you turned the blinker on during the 1st run with the stock h pipe; you could hear it all the way through. when i saw it flashing with the offroad xpipe i thought... ohh shit.

so if you put an offroad x-pipe on your vehicle that means that you remove the cats as well? and if you put a regular x pipe on then you can leave the stock cats on?

@FlowmasterGP Yes. O/R means that you are removing the cats and running a straight X or H pipe, depending on what brand you go with. You can also put on a AFTERMARKET X or H pipe that has "Hi Flo Cats" built in. Which obviously serve the purpose as a cat BUT has different packing inside to give it alittle diff sound and still for performance, just STREET LEGAL.

@SmKnSTANG96 is the o/r x-pipe gonna be a lot louder than an aftermarket x-pipe with high flows? although it will probably smell bad since the o/r will not have any cats to clean the emissions..

@FlowmasterGP Yes the O/R x-pipe with OUT cats is gonna be alot louder and most likely not pass emissions. BUT sometimes they do, friends 00 GT has pypes o/r x-pipe and he passed. I guess it depends on the car and exhaust. High Flow cats do change the sound from FACTORY exhaust, and WILL pass emissions.

Hey man, gorgeous car, but I'm soon doing the exhaust on my car and I'm shopping around for sounds, since it's so damn east to get a different sound on a Mustang by simply putting in 2" longer of pipe than another person.

Anyway, my questions are:

Did you re-pipe the entire exhaust or just cut and weld in what you put in?

Do you have factory headers?

Is your exhaust all one size, and what size is it?
