Sampling vs not sampling.. either way if you choose one and not the other you're limiting yourself. Just Blaze and Kanye got rich doing both. You think they care what anyone thinks? Just make hot music any way you can. If you can't play keys and don't want to learn just do your sampling thing. No need to hate on those who can.

Not to hate. Some of you Producers need to learn the keys instead of just sampling somebody else music 100% of the time. How are you going to grow your paper if you have to pay out to use the sample.

Actually the beat creator wont be paying to use the sample the label does.
and if you hide sample (which a lot can) you wont be paying a dime.
Big labels have the money to money to pay and or clout to raise enough money from sales to split off on the back end.
Not to mention a lot of producers don't mind only getting 3% from the track after the sampled track has gotten its share 3% is still alot of money
