Hey man I don't have to tell you that 20% of casualties in Vietnam were Mexican Americans and Puerto Ricans. Who at the time made up 10% of the population. Tying the dream Act to this defence bill is reprehensible. It amounts to a draft for Mexicans and Centro Americans. I wont stand up today and yell F- the Dream act either but a day might come when we wish we would have.
@TheChristopherx Yes, I understand. I think you probably get a sense of my ambivalence in this video. I know and see up close the hopes of many people, friends who want this to pass so badly. Yet, I agree with this article: bandung1955DOTwordpressDOTcom/2010/09/19/1156/ for the most part. So there is a short term/long term & pragmatic/theoretical & personal/removed ambivalence going on across the board with this one. Thanks for commenting.
