Science does not go with the bible, trust me. I grew up in christianity, then I started learning about science and now a I am a studying geologist. The things I know now will always make me see how silly the bible is....
Michael, "Remember your Creator when you are young, before the days of trouble come and the years catch up with you. They will make you say, 'I have found no pleasure in them.'"
They seem silly because you have decided to buy into the doctrines of the humanists. I have spent 8 years in secular universities, etc., and have a secular graduate degree. God's word is true, but the secularists rebel against their Creator and bend over backwards to find alternate explanations. Try to be objective.
A doctrine is a set of beliefs held and taught by a church, political party, or other group. Science is completely different, the scientific method helps us move on and think outside the box. Once one thing is proved wrong we try and find a reason or answer, always temporary unless it's a law, and this is how science works. We are not indoctrinated like we are with christianity and other religions. You are trying to say that secular humanists are in control of science, complete ignorance.
Your belief is silly...If there was a big catastrophic flood, where is the proof in fossils? The fossil record is in layers and a flood would have had all the fossils jumbled together but we dont see this do we? NO
Thanks for commenting and watching. :) I spend a lot of time in nature and studying life science. I've seen such design and evidence of troubleshooting that it has astounded me. It looks like the statements in the Bible are evidenced in observable science. What has led you to your beliefs? I don't mean to open up an ugly dialogue here. :) You sound like the kind of guy I could have a pint with! Cheers!

I have been led to these beliefs from studying and being around other people who feel the same. :D
