I do see what your saying but a cow is a herbivore you can't expect it to hurt you since it doesn't eat meat. Then how it works is the cow eats grass, we eat the cow, and then we fertilize the grass( kinda gross) that is the natural way of how things work

The problem I see with this mentality is that we are omnivores by nature. Our bodies were built to be able to consume both plants and animals. Take a pig, for instance. A pig doesn't care if what it is eating is a threat to it or not. It's just going to eat it. It's going to eat whatever it can in order to survive. You aren't being particularly mean to one species by eating it. That's just how the food chain works, and we are high up on it.

Like your logic woody, very noble, but my argument for why we should is this- because they are delicious. We are not vegetarians by nature, at least not anymore, we are omnivores, and therefore, we shall eat the cow. And the sheep... Because the sheep is so tasty...
Being a society that really does not keep natural predators close by we have to kill a certain amount of cattle to maintain the cow population. It's the same concept as hunting (not trophy hunting), but if we didn't do this then cows, deer, wild turkey, etc. would be walking around towns and cities. I would not listen to Indian people about animal mortality anyways. more than 10,000 people have died from tiger attacks from 1800-1900. That seems like a good reason to kill something.

Im pretty sure we eat bulls instead of the female cows, becasue female cows make alot more money from dairy. But a cow would never kill you to eat you, it would only kill you if it felt that you were going to kill it, so in other words you have to provoke it into a corner where it cannot run anymore, so i say dont eat cows ;)

cows bring the milk, and the bulls are getting slaughtered for the meat, except when they're breeding bulls. And cows only attack when they feel hard-pressed(just like every animal), or when they have a calf and you come to close to them. The bulls always attack you when you're stepping into their territory, but they start to act like that when they're teenagers, when the hormone level increases....well that's what i know about the cows/bulls aggresion-comportment. Dont know if everythings right

Woody, God put animals on this Earth for the human race to eat and live off of. God put plants on this Earth to provide us with oxygen and even some plants bare fruit. He didn't put plants on this Earth for us to eat. Why would we eat our only oxygen source?

Like your logic woody, very noble, but my argument for why we should is this- because they are delicious. We are not vegetarians by nature, at least not anymore, we are omnivores, and therefore, we shall eat the cow. And the sheep... Because the sheep is so tasty...

Being a society that really does not keep natural predators close by we have to kill a certain amount of cattle to maintain the cow population. It's the same concept as hunting (not trophy hunting), but if we didn't do this then cows, deer, wild turkey, etc. would be walking around towns and cities. I would not listen to Indian people about animal mortality anyways. more than 10,000 people have died from tiger attacks from 1800-1900. That seems like a good reason to kill something.
