  • Didn't the heat shield tiles look really awful? It's time we ended this program but without the shuttles in particular DISCOVERY deploying and servicing Hubble, who knows if we would ever have known about the Hubble Deep Field. So much learned because of the Shuttles

The shuttle program may have been too expensive, but you can't put a price tag on what they achieved.

  • it is

  • I bet its rlly cool seeing the space shuttle blast off!

  • Watched this from brevard county. crazy as hell!

  • It makes me a little sad to see the workhorse spaceshuttle of nasas last flight!!!! We here on earth need to put aside the petty crap of the politicins and contininue are sense of wonder and exploration of the universe at any cost!!!!!

  • This is an historical moment, the last nighttime space shuttle launch...the effect of Endeavour punching through the clouds brought me to tears...the beginning of the end of NASA's domination of manned space exploration was summed up in that one shot...space travel is a gamble, and NASA's been taking that gamble for 50 years...kudos to the brave astronauts who took that gamble as well, and WON!!!

  • If you don't know.. .what . . .must be you are living on weleare, food stamps. .. . .and you are so idiot. . ..Shuttle . .all of them were Fake.. . .No one up ground more than 2 feet. .. ..Nasa is a bunch of idiot likes you

  • Watching a night-time landing is even better. You can see the plasma trail streak accross the sky.

  • Was that the one a few nights ago? it was my first launch!

  • Dear my channel's friends,touch please...

  • thows people are brave they strap the seves to ticking time bombs one thing not right and BOOM

  • How beautifully awesome technology can be! Check out the way the clouds light up as Endeavor is going through them!

  • My power went out exactly at the lift off... unbelievable...

  • Awesome!!!

  • There has to be a better way to leave the atmosphere.

  • @dmtau Wow.....do the world a favor and hang yourself.

  • @dmtau huh? Houston we lost contact here.

  • You are a fool.

  • Nasa is very lack ! From the day had Nasa. . .If any one can show to me Just one thing only one Nasa .. .on the air more than 8 f . .prove too ! Dmtau wil call that person a God Father or Grand dad.. Then Dmtau out from Youtube for good !Obama can join too . . . .I'm waiting!

  • i was there too, no VIP tho. lol. im pretty sure everyone there was really VIP tho...

  • i wuz there! I had v.i.p. area!

  • haha sucks for you i stepped outside my house and saw it hahahaha

  • Shedderman do you ever take any videos of it outside your house?Your so dam lucky:-)).The nearest ive come to seeing anything space shuttle related here in Ireland is occasionally the solid rocket boosters will pass overhead after being seperated from the shuttle, they pass over the Atlantic,Europe and Asia before crashing into the Pacific

  • The boosters land 150 miles off the Cape and are recovered. Nasa ships are already positioned close to where they fall and are back at the Cape in two days.

  • no but the next one i will. the other day when it went off my mom woke me up and we watched it from my window haha

  • LOL. That was the last night launch for the foreseeable future.

  • i know but next launch im gona vid tape it

  • i stepped outside my house and saw and thought it was a nuke bomb. i need to start watching t.v lol

  • dude we didn't know this was happening and like. me and my friend FREAKED OUT. we were scared for our lives. lmao. none of us watch tv or anything. we we crying. AND praying. lmao.

  • @crackheadmaryember rofl that's great. this shuttle launch was in Orlando right? Too bad you didn't know ahead of time because nighttime shuttle launches are considered some of the most beautiful displays of modern technology. Doubly so because Obama just trashed the space program - Nasa is heading for a world of shit.

  • well actually no its like 30 minutes outside of orlando in a city called cape canaveral and i live there so i stepped ouside of my house and could see the launch in full detail

  • oh we saw it go uppp.... we were standing outside walking to my house getting done with our cigs and all of a sudden we saw this bright light. and i mean the first word my friend nick said was nuke bomb. so anthony nick and i were scared this was the last time we'd ever even like breathe. ahahahaha.

  • Nice liftoff :D
