Genes play a major role in sexual orientation. "Analyses of twins suggest that sexual orientation is about 60% genetic."

The two killings prompted Buju to write "Murderer," which is seen as a song against all the senseless violence and killings
Pancake was shot 10/20/93. He was about 27. Dirtbag was shot 12/21/93. He was also about 27.

The word "Sodomy" is a misnomer when it is used to refer to sex between two consenting adult men.
Modern scholarship shows that the "Sodom and Gomorrah" fable in the bible is not about homosexuality. Generally, the story has long been interpreted to be about hospitality, with a homophobic interpretation coming in fairly recently.

In the U.S., we are very fortunate that we have separation of church and state. Our government cannot legally enact into law the hateful teachings of any religion.
Religions try and sometimes succeed in getting their beliefs enacted into law But these laws are eventually declared to be unconstitutional.

Nowhere in the bible does it specify what the "Sin of Sodom" is.
In the U.S., some states defined "Sodomy" as anal and oral sex, some states defined "Sodomy" as just anal sex. Some U.S. state's Sodomy laws applied only to gay sex partners, some applied to gay and non gay sex partners.
Rather than use the word "Sodomy," it is better to use "anal sex" or "oral sex," depending upon which sex acts you are referring to.

I don't believe in the bible. I think that the homophobia in the bible totally discredits the bible. The bible is archaic, obsolete, irrelevant, erroneously translated and erroneously interpreted. The bible is discredited in many other ways, also, not just its homophobia.
I consider all the other ancient sacred texts that are homophobic to be completely discredited, too.
