  • Chris Folderson :-)

  • Negrenau is such a weasel, he couldnt wait to throw some chips in with a pair of jacks, and he's the big man in "polite" company and then goes as quiet as a mouse around bigger personalities. He's like a shady salesman.

  • Should be a worldwide consesus by now to never play a hand against chris "raging faggot" ferguson or howard "massive homo" lederer if they 3bet you without at least kings or aces. They are literally that stupidly one dimensional, don't try and outplay a mega nit, just take 99% of pots away from him when he plays back just fold

  • most of the time when you are paying 6 max player table this is not a good lay down

  • Chris "The Thief" Ferguson

  • chris "the nit" ferguson

  • against ferguson isnt impressive fold.. because ferguson plays so tight.. when he comes over the top you pretty much sure you gotta fold almost any hand except the nuts obv

  • Chris "Supernit" Ferguson

  • ivey out of line

  • Thats what happens when you are a perfect nit and never dare to bluff

nobody will give you action in the rare case you are dealt your monster, while the other players are making more profit thanks to your blinds.

  • Chris Folderson's Range was AA KK QQ or AK

    easy fold to that chump

  • He should have played it like a set

  • Why is Negreanu in Cyrillic?

  • join highpulse poker use code 050576 to get free cash

  • obviously everybody knows ferguson jesus chris is a shitty NIT... easy fold for negreanu`

  • FUCK FERGUSON FULL TILT SCUM

  • This is a monster table

  • I don't think anyone with 5 bracelets would be in the "suck" category.

  • This is a super impressive fold v Durrr, it's a good fold against Ferguson..

  • lol nituson

  • Yep. Guy who makes a living playing poker, has won the main event and has 5 WSOP bracelets suck ass hard.

I <3 Youtube pros. What the hell are you doing sharing your knowledge with us?! You should be in Vegas at the tables kicking Ferguson's ass!

  • If I had aces I wouldda played... lol I love daniel Im going to read his book just cuz of that

  • nics negreanu xaxaxaxaxax

  • This i s why Ferguson sucks balls, he's so tight he never gets paid

  • Considering Daniel is a calling station most of the time thats a pretty stunning laydown.

  • @dannyboyboydanny it was easier for him to fold because ferguson's image is super tight. still a very very nice laydown though

  • I bet you that in a cash game with ferguson most players will think of him as part of the furniture! But once in a while some idiot gets too clever and plays with him. it always surprises me when people play with him since Jesus only bets 5 hands: AA, KK, QQ, AK, and sometimes AQ. LOOOOOL If you lose money to that guy you are an IDIOT

  • Lol That ferguson is a JOKE. gread vid! finally someone puts that Jeusu back in his place. When he bets everyone shoud fold. Fucking guy only plays KK and AA. And i hear he plays with the money he stole from Full Tilt! A crook that cant play for shit=Jesus

  • Chris should act faster.. playing with all our money from FULL TILT POKER!

  • Jacks are a difficult and dangerous hand to play out of position on a 3bet. Really bad playability postflop. You can be dominated by QQ+ or easily get flopped out by AK, KQ or some hands like that.

Besides Ferguson is a rather conservative player who probably has a relatively tight 3betting range. So Daniel just throwed his hand away. I guess he would've played against loose players like Dwan or Ivey.

  • easy laydown

  • great, now i have to go back through all the comments to find what NoS0upForU and gigjan said.

  • @00Phat12345 thats what i am doing right now! lol

  • LOL this reminds me of Matusow folding QQ preflop against Ferguson's reraise with AA on PAD. Something must be very wrong with his strategy, don't you think?

  • @godzac you'd think ferguson would consider adjusting after all these years but instead he just nits it up and gets no action from any decent pro.

  • at best negreanu was a coinflip at worst he was 4 to 1..the only hand daniel had good odds against that chris may 3bet with would be AK..otherwise itll be AA KK or QQ

  • its fckn fergusson he reraises AA and KK only maybe AK sometimes

  • ferguson is playing rlly stupid if he dont get action on a spot like that

  • lol Chris Nituson ^.^

  • anybody who says easy fold because ferguson is tight i want to slam my head into a wall and say idiot. daniel has a wide range of hands so feguson is going to 3bet maybe even with aj and the button. it was however a four bet or fold because calling puts you out of position and most flops will have a qk or a

  • doesnt he hav odds here to setmine?

  • Great fold! Sure, Ferguson is tight as hell, but he could be doing this with AK and AQ. Problem for Daniel is ofcourse that his implied odds are bad. If Ferguson had AK or AQ he is likely to fold when he misses the flop, and if Ferguson does hit a the flop He will have Daniel beat(unless a J hits aswell, but that is unlikely at best) Daniel's reverse implied odds though are bad. If Ferguson has an overpair and a safe flop comes down, Daniel is gonna lose a lot. An impressive fold anyway!

  • @Tycho84 Wow you're misunderstanding the concept of "implied odds", in this case (with AK or AQ) there are 0 implieds odds involved, because JJ is strong enough to be played postflop without being a set.

Now for the reverse implied odds, it's not true because if Daniel knows his opponent, he might or might not fold to a 2barrel on a low board, thinking Ferguson will or will not bet with an overpair only.

He made the right move once in a blue moon, but he just fled from a hard situation.

  • @zHqqrdz No you are misunderstanding implied odds. JJ may be strong enough to play on most boards postflop. But those boards will never be good for an AK/AQ, because JJ are always risky when any overcard hits. If Daniel hits a good flop, AK/AQ won't, and Ferguson wouldn't usually put a lot of money in the pot.

The reverse implied odds ARE bad, because JJ looks so stong on a low board while it isn't, the fact that Daniel might get away from it is irrelevant for that matter.

  • @Tycho84 How hard is it to get away from an ace high board in those situations ? Not hard at all.

How hard is it to fold to a 2 barrel against someone as tight as Ferguson on a low board which is less likely to have hit his AK/AQ range ? Not hard at all.

Reverse implied odds only exist when you're not good enough to play postflop, or when you're calling to get a hand that will be dominated postflop (ie AQ, hit an ace, you gotta go with it but you'll get owned when you'll get action).

  • @zHqqrdz It is pretty hard to get away from a low board. If the board has no overcards for Daniel he pretty much has to go with it. If he is up against an overpair he is going to lose a lot of money. If he is up against AK/AQ its very hard for him to get a lot of action postflop, unless he is beat. So Daniel can only win a small pot, but by calling he'd risk losing a big one. Getting yourself in these kind of situation makes poker that much harder. You put yoursel to tough decisions.

  • @Tycho84 u missed the scenario when you hit your set and ferguson value bets all 3 streets and u win a shit tonne

  • @REXPECT23 Ofcourse that could happen. But chances of hitting your J are only 1 to 7. Even if you do, the flop cannot contain a K, and an A could freeze some action aswell, since Ferguson has some reason to believe Daniel could be holding an A. In the other scenarios, Daniel could indeed win a huge pot. But set-mining with JJ is not advisable. Even if you think your opponent has an overpair you will have trouble folding a flop with no overs, because Ferguson could just be c-betting aswell.

  • Comment removed

  • I doubt negreanu folded because he knew ferguson had a good hand. He was just plain scared.

  • exceptional fold but it helps that ferguson is the biggest nit of all time, daniel at least calls almost anybody else.

  • This isn't a SUPER IMPRESSIVE fold (especially considering Ferguson's range and table image), but it is a very good one.

  • hahaa negreanu is the best ;-))))))))))))))

  • Play like Ferguson if you want to make money playing poker. Only play premium hands and leave immediately after winning a big pot. Sure it's boring as fuck and you will become known as a coward, but it's all about the money right? ;D

  • ferguson is tight as a ducks a** - east fold lol, he would only open with AA or KK, let alone 3 bet!

  • surprised he didn't take a flop at least. strong fold though.

  • jacks are crap

  • I don't now how much chips Negreanu had behind him, but he surely had to take a flop with any pocket pair there. 1 in 8 chance of flopping a set, and implied odds that he would double up through Ferguson.

  • @Tehui1974

He was short enough stack but i think your still wrong... If it was a cash game his money is in there straight away but its a winner take all event he will just wait for a better spot.

  • that aint so super impressive if you are considering who he is up against...

  • @lutzzze Yep, I'm sure you would have laid down JJ in exactly that situation.

  • Depends on his chip stack whether he calls or not

  • If i was Chris i would be reviewing this tape to see what read Daniel had on me.

Playing at my club last week i made a standard raise with AA in middle position. I had been playing plenty of pots, thought i was relaxed. The cunt on the button immediately called my hand and everybody folded. It was a loose table, plenty of action.

I cannot get it out of my head. He saw something. Normally i show very little. That is is the kind of thing that will make a fellow twitchy.

  • Impressive fold, most people would at least see a flop, I know I would.

  • It's actually not a good fold. If he knew JJ was beat he had his range within 3 hands and if he hit the flop, he could've stacked him. Call.

  • @JeeRaph I don't know what you're on about, but this is not a cashgame with deep stacks, this is a PAD Freezeout. I don't know how deep they are at this point, but i'd imagine if Negreanu raises back, he's pretty much commited to the pot and if he flat calls, I think he would have two pot bets max. behind. He definitely doesn't have the implied odds for hitting a set so he could stack Ferguson off.

  • @WaspSnG I hate these stupid sit n' go's. Who in their right mind prefers to see these over deep stack cash games?

  • @JeeRaph I don't know, I sure don't.

Point is though, that you shouldn't write comments like that before you talk about stacking someone off with the right flop and so-one, if you haven't even considered what amound and structure they're playing. It's just a blind guess, really.

By the way; is there any chance Negreanu would fold JJ in a cashgame to a single reraise? Not like in a million years.

  • not impressive at all. ferguson is a huge nit and will only 3bet KK+

even QQ is instant fold here

  • I'm imressed with your English..

  • ivey is jaleous for the respect chris gets, lol :D

  • @gigjan not at all. ferguson must be pissed that he couldnt get action from jacks.

  • @acies92 thats what he gets for being a tight ass mofo

  • even 5nl players make this fold every day

  • @NoS0upForU really now... then i suggest you stop trolling youtube and go make some big bucks folding JJ to a 3bet preflop.

  • @cannydd

In some spots, in some situations, vs some players, with some positions, with some stake sizes, yes, I would fold jacks pre to a 3bet.

In other situations I might fire a 4bet or shove.

    imo, Daniel`s fold is impressive.

  • @NoS0upForU

They do, but none of them are winning
