Homosexuals are still God's children no matter what they do behind closed doors. As a christian it is your job to accept and love all people because they all come from God. Yes in the bible it says that homosexuality is wrong and that it is a sin but everyone sins and all sins are considered equal in God's eyes. By oppressing and making this group of people outcasts in our society you create an environment where they are more likely to go against christianity than before.

If "God" loves me so much, then why would he say I'm going to hell for not believing him and sinning? Therein lies the contradiction. Saying he loves us so much, and then saying that if we exercise our right of free will to not believe in him (when the only "proof" of his existence is some 2000 year old book) he will send us to hell.
