I love how brainwashed everyone is. Forget the technological deficiencies. Technology these days is used to cover up what's most important in a movie - it's story, characters and actors. This is so well acted and produced given the cash on hand, and all people care about is that the snake doesn't look real. Enjoy your inferior movies, if you will. They're just eye candy.
I can't tell if the creatures at 3 minutes and 8 seconds are jumping into that Abyss that opened up, in their hysteria over the disintegration of their world, or whether they're falling, or whether one fell and the others started jumping as they were laughing out of fear/insanity and thinking it was as safe as anywhere else they could be down there.
I'm wondering if the "Butterfly Effect" is going on here that while this underworld is coming apart, the train wreck is happening back in England with the others that's alluded to in the Last Battle.
These ages that transpire between trips to Narnia are fun 4those aware of faster than light travel&whatever worm holes Aslan would be using where it's not the annoyance of long ages having transpired on earth 2where there's no real personal life 2go home2 after an adventure, but whole lifetimes appear 2b able 2go by between trips 2Narnia w/how Aslan's choosing 2have the children come & go from Narnia. Sucks that at the end, only Eustace, Jill, & Susan are alive because of events back in England.
A lot of people criticize the hollywood versions for not being faithful to the original books, but I just want to point out that this version is not as faithful to the book as you think. The hollywood versions might change a lot from the book, but the essence is not changed. So my point is, let's stop critizing the Hollywood for corrupting the book, or criticize these BBC versions for being crappy. They all fall short in one way or another. It is impossible to do justice to the book.
when Jill kisses Puddleglum's cheek, she turned all the other Marshwiggles against. Now they're going to kill her because she ruined aany chance of Puddleglum becoming less "flighty and full of bobance and bounce."
LOL LOL LOL LOL XD *falls out of chair laughing hysterically* OMG that's great! That probably has more truth in it than you realize! lol HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....*dies laughing*
Luckily now there won't be a disney movie anymore. They are now published by walden media and I believe fox, and they plan on making it more like the books ;).

The BBC could have spent more money on the series! This was made in 90's when decent technology was already around.

@mrskinoti Hear, hear. Not easy being completely faithful to dear old C.S. The written imagination is very powerful indeed. I shouldn't wonder.

It is the Prince! And they cheer as if it was just a plain old procession, instead of finding a long-lost prince.

the prince reminds me of a combination between Sirius Black and Aragorn. Good combination if you ask me :-D
