My brothers and i played in these hills in the sixties, in those days mom would let us out in the mourning and we come home at dusk! there was so much to explore. we were all less than 9,i was the eldest,we came to australia when i was 9,
@hakea801 Don't know if you've been back in the u.k recently but the lickey hills haven't changed at all albiet by a few more building in and around rubery/rednal its still beautiful up there now.
first went up there in 1962-when aged 15-go up a few days a year in the summer.
