satincherry; Actually Hemp and Cannabis are not technically the same plant. They have wide genetic differences. One major diff is that Hemp produces less than 1% THC. They are both definitly in the same genus but very likely(some debate about this) not the same species. So no, hemp is not "pot" and "pot" is not hemp.

Ive seen some who think that Hemp is actually Cannabis ruderalis, not sativa. Some say ruderalis is a sub species of Sativa. There isnt really even a consensus on whether or not sativa and indica are seperate species or if "indica" is yet another sub spp. My point deals mostly with misconceptions about common names. "Hemp" is hemp. Not THC rich "Cannabis"

The only mildly bad effect of weed on a regular person is it makes you hungry. Im a fatty myself, and I try to wait to smoke a bowl before dinner. That is so I am not eating dinner, than smoking and eating another meal lol. But working out high is awesome, ive been working out for about 6 months just running and weight lifting. I think it enhances the workout. go weed!

I am not saying smoke marijuana during pregnancy, and also I am not saying smoke mary jane as a teenager, the brain is still developing. By 18, I would say weed has no bad effect on a person. Unless that person lets it effect them, and that would be by not educating themselves or working, and never making anything of themself. Weed is not at fault though, because people that dont smoke or drink are sometimes lazy and never make anything of themselves.

Effects from a short period of time from smoking ciggarettes is lower lung capacity. The average pot smoker prolly smokes a bowl in the morning, at lunch, at dinner, and before bed. The average cigg smoker at least a pack a day (20 ciggs) up to 3 packs a day. Which do you think is worse for your lungs?

cigarettes and alcohol. Proven if taken during pregnancy to have low birth weight. ALcohol will damage a persons brain, if pregnant it will also damage the baby's brain. Alcohol also has a lot of fat, very bad for you to drink. Worse than soda. Alcohol destroys the liver over time, makes you fat which is effecting your lungs because if you are fat you cant do cardio as well, which than is effecting your heart because you are not running or bike riding. You heart needs cardio workouts

Aurora: I dont understand exactly what you are looking for. Are you looking for hemp seed that will grow 0% THC plants? Canada has some retailers who deal in legal hemp seed. But if you live in the US, 0% THC hemp is also ILLEGAL. Thats an example of how stupid the prohibition law is. Its counter-productive, damaging to society, and most of all, UN-ENFORCEABLE. Any "danger" it poses is far less than the damage that prohibition itself causes. The only sensible thing to do is legalization.

To clarify; Hemp isnt technically illegal nation wide here, only some states have actual hemp laws. However, it is TREATED as an illicit substance by all law enforcement nation wide. In fact, most of the Cannabis drug war statistics as far as pounds confiscated is actually hemp and ditch weed. Its a total farce, run by corporate influence(big oil, pharma, etc.)to maximize profits at the peoples expense. Oh well, tyranny cant last forever:)

The seeds don't contain any THC and wont make you hallucinate.. people can grow hemp and as long as it is a male plant, or a well pollinated female plant it will produce little to no THC. THC = Tetra Hydro Cannabinol (the drug)it is only produced in the flowering phase of the plant.
