  • I wonder if there is a debate, John is God and shut up about anything else. DOGS !

Ps: Lou Reed looks like Siggi Sýra, my friend and traveling guide of sort.......

  • te amamos JOhnny

  • 1:35 he REALLY looks like lou reed

  • is it Jah and Keith Levene on this???

  • I love this video, and I love Johnny!!! Great work! :)

  • Happy birthday Johnny...

Your still as cool as shit....

  • This is not a good song!

  • the mans my hero.

  • would u people prefer Crass or Sex Pistols?

  • i dunno who i would prefer. Sex Pistols were revolutionary. Crass is cool and everything though too but the Sex Pistols were obviously pioneers of punk rock (I guess with glam rock bands, and ultimately Ramones and The Saints and all that influencing the sound of it). but yeah, Crass was working class music, but the Pistols in interviews said their music was for that too. Crass is real influenced by the pistols, even though they hate on Steve Jones. but i wasn't around for it, so i dunno.

  • @roflwafflex123 Sex Pistols, Crass didn't make very good music and they took a lot of the fun out of punk rock. Anarcho-Syndicalist bands have ruined the modern punk scene.

  • @whitetrashoutlaw PISTOLS anarchic...not syndicalists in the slightest...for CRASS I never really got into them...some say they were hippies in disguise...ALBION fucked...even in 76 - hence P U N K

  • @roflwafflex123 what ?? How can u compare??

  • @MsGORGONS You really can't compare them the only thing they have in common is being british punk bands which use the word anarchy.

  • @whitetrashoutlaw well I know...they appealed to different audiences I think...the PISTOLS burned out...Crass went on to continue and sell albums...a mate of mine bumped into the singer in Old Stokey one day...they went to the pub and had a drink. The trouble with the pistols is they didn't shake things up well enough. Englandu from a human viewpoint is now an impossible place to live. Police repression + thugs + urban decay...makes 1977a great year by comparison. I challenge anybody on that one

  • @MsGORGONS I'm not from england so I'm probably not as informed, but I think england in the 70's and 80's was just as bad if not worse because there were more unemployed and there were a lot of race riots and stuff.

  • great stuff.

  • no, no what's a butter-tart? a soft touch ham? he's certainly not afraid of embarrassing himself. if he dropped the gamin (little man) boogie and get back to his edgey druggy earlier shit he might be believable. this was probably the last i listened to Pil. it was good but he sold out afterward imho. he wasn't the only one. the record industry sucked and they killed rock n roll. but every not-me rocker (the who) eventually rolled up their arm for the mark of the beast.

  • Who are you? What have you ever done, in comparison to JR? You aren't fit to lick his booties.

  • ive done alot. but it takes more than what you have to make it in this world. i admire Johnny he was a big hero of mine for a long time. what has anyone done in comparison to anybody? i could go into the studio and make some shit that somebody somewhere will like. and perhaps when i get criticized they will say well what have you done. you can't shine his shoes.

  • anyone see copkiller? was it anygood. never heard of it.

  • hmm....I actually don't like this 12" mix of TINALS as much as the one on This is What you Want.. or Keith Levene's mix either.

    BUT

    nice video ( :

  • is this a love song?

  • fucking top

  • Your foto's by this clip/vid are very GREAT !!!

The most off it I've never see.....

    Thanks....., Ron from the Netherlands.....

  • Era il migliore, veramente un mito.

Peccato che oggi si sia commercializzato.

  • john lydon goes blubbing the freak shit bubbi ding ring with the fling on the chi-ching........... YA DIG?

  • I met John Lydon.He's a real butter-tart.

  • a what?

  • QUEEN I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS GO ON GIRL!

  • thanks so much! ;)

  • I love it! I'm still getting 'hate mail' for my innocuous comment of 3 months ago. Then again, at least half of PIL's audience always was a seriously pathetic crowd. I remember that by the time Lydon got through each set, he and his band mates (as well as the stage props) were covered in spit. And didn't the 1986 tour end when guitarist McGough took a broken bottle to the face? No wonder Lydon despised his audience.

  • very nice

  • Im gonna see pistols next week! jiha!

  • And I'm gonna see the Sex Pistols in August!

  • HE ROCKS

  • PIL, one of the greatest bands until Wobble and Levine made their exits. This song sucks, and it always did. But you have to thank Lydon and company for putting out several great records, which is more than 99.99(99999)% of any pop musicians will ever do. They've almost been entitled to release crap ever since. How much can you expect from someone, after all. Some really great pics in this clip, too. Thanks!

  • blidkin this is not a love song, not a love song, this is not a love song

  • blidkin this is not a love song, not a love song, this is not a love song

  • i think the sex pistols are better, then again im not into 80s music

  • leftism, by leftfield one of the greatest dance albums of all time produced by you guessed it...PIL album on of the best pop albums of all time... God save the Queen one of the best punk albums... maybe he's patchy but if keeps putting out the best album of the latest music genre every ten years or so he gona stay in my playlist

  • I liked PIL cos they were so different. They are like nothing else ever even to this day. I still wear an old PIL badge on my denim jacket. The badge is nearly 30 years old!

  • that's joe strummer on 1.14 isn't it?? cool just caught me...who's the rastaman on the pic before that one? could it be punk/reggae dj don letts?

  • no, don letts is in the pic. @1:47 wearing a red jacket, not sure who the other rasta is.

  • Yes thats joe on the set of a B.A.D. vid

  • Okaay. Never heard BAD unfortunately but Mick Jones is cool and so is Don Letts. What's John Lydon doing there do you think?

  • Lydon and joe appeared on the B.A.D. vid medicine show. check it out. Paul appear`s as well

  • the slits were really good,i saw em supporting the clash in 79,great gig.

  • I swear to God after Levene left the band, Lydon lost all his talent and became like 5 times as ugly.

  • you missed out on a lot of good stuff then wabsnazsm, who gives a stuff what other people think, john lydon certainly never did

  • I was a big PiL fan but as soon as this stuff started coming out, I was embarrassed beyond belief! I couldn't listen to it and whenever it happened to pop up on TV or radio, people would laugh and say "that's the stupid, shitty band that you like!" Ouch!

  • they had one really awesome song. Public Image. Anything after that god kinda odd :\

  • Odd? that's a bad thing? Silly little man.

  • owesome, LYdon rockas:)

  • I don't mean to sound really stupid, but does he have kids?

    I didn't think he did!

  • No, he and Nora never had any kids, although he has a step daughter.

  • THE STEP DAUGHTER IS ARI UP OF THE SLITS

  • did you notice the ad for "copkiller", sometimes known as "order of death" which he made in 83. i have a spare legit copy on VIDEO if anyone wants to buy in uk. post me a message.

  • I LOVE IT!

  • pil started as a really interesting group, their first 45 was truly amazing. but man listen to this post keith levene shit, it sounds like duran duran is backing him on this shitty song. their later albums are serious shit. it now appears that levene and wobble got out at the right time!

  • i love the 1st PiL single madly, but this song is brilliant.

  • this is absolute SHITE. what in gods graces happened to Johnny Rotten in the 80s? absolute bullocks.

  • disagree. i love it. i did and still do.

    i think it's hilarious too.

  • I LOVE jONNY AND THE SEX PISTOLS AND I ASAW THIS BAND AS WELL.

  • I LOVE THE TRUTH PUNK ROCK!!!

  • YAY! The best version of This is Not a Love Song! I love Johnny's hair! Can you imagine having him as a parent?? Scary...but so FUN!
