Then it's simply an alternance btweens "chords" of D and C

(in fact he just plays the D and C at the octave and that's it :p Simple but terrific :)

hi there!well i grew up in switzerland..so i know a bit of german...in the beginning he says that the song is about a herb, and that if you want potatoes the herb to use is rosmarin(rosmary)..gewurz means spice and kraut means herb:)hope i helped...

Yes he ideed mentions "Kartoffeln" which means potatoes. he says that if the government knew how inspiring rosmary can be it would be forbidden soon and we would have to use other spices for our potatoes (rosemary is a verry common spice for potatoes in germany)
