  • whats a wiccan?

  • @101juciebox A person who practices the religion Wicca. Which is a stem of beliefs based off of the old religion, honoring the earth, usually centered around A God and a Goddess. Google for more info but we careful at what you are reading. Pick up a book by Raymond Buckland

  • Hi I'm a 12 yr old warlock and I own a book of shadows but my powers are very week how do I make them stronger?

  • @olibug524 In wicca Warlock means Oath Breaker. you might want to do some more research other than youtube.

  • How do I get in touch with Caroline?

  • okay i've heard that the esbats also include the new moon, waning moon, and waxing moon, not just the full moon. is this true? it varies in difference resources, although i'm leaning more towards it just being full moons... help?

  • @RavenkellSamhainrain That's pefectly fine. In most traditions it's only the full moon. What I do is I do one one the full moon and another on the Dark moon (which if I remember correctly is about 3 to 2 before the moon starts waxing again). Everyone has their own preferences (sp?) and the Goddess will still love and protect even if you choose to only celebrate full moons. I hope this helps you :)!

  • You can do so much more. Being Wiccan is a state of mind, not just performing beliefs. Use a sauce pot instead of cauldron, use spices in spice bottles instead of large jars. Take long walks alone, and carry burning incense while you chant or rehearse spells. One day your situation will change and you will have the confidance to be yourself. Blessed Be

  • im in a difficult situation right now and because these situations i can't do things like a spell or a ritual i just chant the name of the godess at night and the gods name in day these are basicly the only thing i can do

is there anymore i could do?

  • "as the world turns, so does our lives, and so does the wheele."

  • Informative video. Thanks

  • bein eclectic is easier. each person has such different ideas about how things should b done or said. when I do my meditations by myself, it means more to me

  • is your last name watkins? I know you! :)

  • @Awakentheend

no its not wrong. you should do what makes you happy

  • To: Caroline

Thank you for all your help I love your videos!

    Your biggest fan, Hannah (Oscar307975)

    :)

  • Will anyone join me on an online spell? Think friendly thoughts to all living beings for a few minutes a day, or longer if you can. This should break down the barriers of ignorance and superstition about Wicca and magic.

  • is it posible to write my own spells and make them work?

i really need to make my own spells 'cos i need spells that i coulden't find enywhere.

  • @035472229 It is btter to use your own magic is 75% belief and 20% intent ans 5%action or ritual like writting it down and burning the paper

  • If all those aspiring to magic or the old religion think friendly thoughts to all mankind at noon together, just for a few minutes, perhaps the fear, prejudice and ignorance will melt, to some extent, everywhere.

    On line charm.

  • wait, so Witchcraft has no moral code or gods? its just these rituals and "magik" holidays? but wicca has a moral code and two deities? *confused*

    Please help me!

(i really dont know! i no nothing of the Witchcraft of Wicca!)

  • @MoonRiseWolf

Witchcraft does not have moral code, form of punishment, or that such

That is something by the individual, not Witchcraft itself.

    Wicca =/= Witchcraft.

  • People fear what they dont understand. But if they are not trying to understand it then thats them. Its about spritual growth and the earth the sky the grass the trees its about everything.

    Blessed Be

  • @Awakentheend No its not So wrong. Its not wrong at all. Im also a Solitary wiccan. Be true to your path.

    Blessed Be.

  • I think for me its not nature but the spirit within nature. THe form I dont worship but the formless.

  • LOL at the naked comment and the neighbors! >I dont like being naked even taking a bath> ROFL

  • being a witch seems kinda hard.>LOL

  • solitary seems so lonely but im ecletic too . So not to many of my christian friend would understand my circle.

  • ray t. marborough. a great author.

check out some of his books.

  • Magick is within us, it should not be refered to as all this hollywood movie junk.

  • the Celtic Church. thats my choice. the perfect smoothly functioning balance of Pagan and Christian. St. Padraigh knew what he was doin ! )O(

  • wicca and witchcraft are 2 different things. witchcraft is using spells and stuff, and wicca is an religion, tho most wiccans also use witchcraft, but using witchcraft doesnt make you wiccan

  • I really think you have a great point. what people are missing is that Wicca is the worship of nature, and how we are all interconnected with the whole universe, its not about having magical powers,

  • in wicca they have this "fluffybunny" term and i'm not exactly sure what it means....can someone help?

  • i think its a phrase some people use to reffer fake magick. im not too sure.

    )O(

  • you're a fluffbunny when you turn into wicca, just to turn you're self off from other people or from authority, and not because you feel like an wicca.

  • I heard fluffy bunny to mean that a person become Wiccan just to annoy their parents.

  • Finally, some sense...

  • ^_^

  • Lol... I know you are just trollin' for fun. However, considering that even christian scholars cannot prove that Jesus christ ever lived (and have even stated there is no actual record of him besides the made up book called "the bible"), I doubt he will mind that Christmas originally belonged to the pagans. :)

  • this has always got my heart heart i want to help me dad and a man a love verying mch to be with me when he gets outs can u help me pls?

  • r muslims aloud to do witchcraft

  • I'm mostly Greek, so I've developed a traditional greek system of Wicca

  • Yea

    I went off the point\/

  • go scottywitch :] blessed be.

  • and that kind of conversation helped the christians become the way that they have.close minded.....what shame.....but oh well...thats u....

  • What exactly is an eclectic witch? I'm kind of confused.

  • an eclectic witch is someone who doesnt follow one wiccan tradition but (like myself) look at multiple traditions and see what aspects feel right to them and then follow those traditional aspects and ignore the parts which dont feel right

    i hope this was helpful

    Bright Blessings )O(

    Pagan4eva08

  • Remember

    It's not just in wicca

    But good description

    (I'm an eclectic Wiccan)

    Love, light and happiness)0(

  • just wanted to say thank you. you have made understanding and learning much easier than most other websites and books I have read.

    Have a great 2009 !!

    Blessed Be

  • whoes the goddess?????

    isis?????

  • To some people, this may confusing. But there are three aspects to the goddess:Maiden,Mother, and Crone.

Wiccans can worship her as those three just like Christians worship Father,Son, and Holy Spirit. Or a Wiccan can choose to work with a specific deity such a Diana or Cerridwen.

I hope this answers your question. But it depends on the witch with who their patron goddess is.

    Blessed Be

    )O(

  • ahhh the maiden the mother the crone the three faiths in geek and rome myth

  • Not quite. The Lady's name is oathbound and must be the Lady of the British Isles. So one who is not truly of the Wica can not know the true name of the Goddess.

  • Yeah no who thinks Gerald Gardner was loopy knows the name of the goddess...rightt

  • That is because Gardner invented Wica. Came up with it, founded the religion. Therefore only he and his descendants know the true name of the Lord and Lady. Wica is a SPECIFIC religion with SPECIFIC gods and goddesses. Everything else is just eclectic paganism.

  • No specific stuff

    It's not Christianity

  • Wicca is very specific, what you find today is not Wicca; it is a watered down form of it.

  • Not all Wicca is

I personally prefer my valiente to my Cunningham

Mostly because gardener and valiente(although I don't like all of their ideas...) put more work and more traditional magic into their work

Silver ravenwolfe can't even write correct information!

    Eg

She thinks millions of people died in the burning times

    When only around 100-1000 died

    And most were drowned

  • The "Burning Times" have little to do with today.

    Or Wicca for that matter.

The core practices are the same however: the names of the God/dess, the initiation rites, et cetera.

  • There is a song and information I looked up about the burning times and they both said 9 million European wommen died. The song is called "The Burning TImes". Maby RavenWolf is right.

  • wasnt that by inkubus sukkubus??

    anyway i wrote it wrong

    i meant around 6000

  • During the 'Burning Times' it was not Wiccans or Pagans who were killed but Christians who had run afoul of their neighbors or were different in some way. Still tragic of course.

  • This goddess can be honored in many forms. It all varies in which type of deity you connect with most, whether it be Egyptian, Greek, Roman, or even a symbol of nature. I hope this helps.

    Blessed Be!

    TTC

  • we find being called a witch a compliment.

  • I wasn't meaning it as an insult...

  • o..ok

  • haha yeah =)

  • Thanx so much your videos are really informative and interesting to watch. Although they may be sometimes a little hard to follow, I always learn something new each time. I would recommend them to anyone who is a novice.

    Good job :)

  • thank you for making these videos they are very informative to those who are of the craft and beginners. blessed be.

  • omg. my friends and i have made our covent and we actually practiced on full moons. ...we are actually practicing on summer/winter solstics too. Since those are powerful times too. ^_^

  • Caroline, your videos are easy to follow and informative. There are things that I did not realize about some of the Wicca practices which I found most interesting. I especially liked learning about the Morgan who would take care of problems for you, rather than you having to personally cast a spell on them, that I would be most interested in exploring further. Thank you for your videos.

May your deeds return to you three fold.

  • hi could you tell me which video this was? thanks

  • LorraineCamilleri, I don't remember which of her videos talked about the Morgan, I would suggest just looking through them until you come across that particular one..sorry could be more specific...

  • It was a quick blurb she mentioned in her video about spell books. That's where she mentioned the Morgan.

  • I'm glad you found the reference, I couldn't remember which video it was in, hope that information is beneficial to you.

  • i just wanted to thank you for making videos, and say i leaned alot from them. ^.^

  • These are nice videos.^_^

  • Thanks for the videos there should be Moore that teach on witchcraft. blessed be )0(

  • good job neh?

  • thank you so much caroline you,ve really worked hard to make these videos
