The Direct Hit is kind of a boring weapon.

I mean, it's useful for skilled soldiers, but it doesn't really change the way the class plays.

Its a complete downgrade from the sniper rifle for good players and it's pretty much 90% luck. Lets not forget the hit boxes the size of Texas with this thing. Pretty much you'd have to be pretty hard up for kills to use this weapon and completely ignorant of the weapons facts.

Besides the fact the hitboxes are broken as shit, it is a weapon with little to no skill ceiling, far less potential in being useful then the sniper rifle, and is more reliant on luck then basing your entire combat strategy on crits.

don't be a jackass. i've logged 156 hours as a solly, buT less than 2 as a sniper. it's a valid question.

Well you see the arrows have an oddly large hitbox and really bad lag on them causing most people to still get struck by them even though they have clearly dodged them in both first and third person. There are loads of videos of people standing perfectly still and still getting hit by a MISSING shot. Lets not forget the game play ones where people will die by arrows 5ft to the right of there head.

On which point? I'll grant that the hitboxes need adjusting, but it's a great weapon in concept. If you're the kind of Sniper who frequents the 2fort barracks, yeah, you'll hate it. You can't use it like a sniper rifle.
