Could you tell me how much rhodiola you consumed or what the recommended effective dose is? the energy supplement I consume now contains 100 mg per serving.
I have one knuckle (the ring finger)of my left hand that is experiencing itching and peeling. Trying to remember if this coincided with my starting to take rhodiola. How odd.
I've had many weird, odd and strange experiences from experimenting with lots of supplements over the past 27 years -- probably 30 or 40 weird experiences.
Because sometimes they take a while to develop, it may take me a couple of days or a couple of weeks or, in at least one case, a couple of months to figure out what it is.
The general rule of thumb that I've come to appreciate over the years is that it is usually "the new thing causing the new thing."

The suggested serving size is 100-300 mg of Rhodiola twice a day.
I was taking it twice a day, but notice the knuckles on the back of my left hand were dry, so I stopped using it every day.
The dryness went away.
I now take it about 30 minutes before exercise, but have not gone back to taking it twice a day yet.
I probably will, but am proceeding slowly.
