Labs are the best dogs on earth! I can't stand ankle biters. Labs are simply put the best dogs on earth! Loved mine and it had allergies but she was a happy dog and lived a great long life.

Wow. I didn't know that Westies or retrievers were so prone to allergies. I'll definitely look out for a specific breed if I ever have my own dog at all.

I still prefer labs over other breeds despite they're allergy prone and ear infections. As they say if dog is man's best friend, Labrador's his soul mate.

I have a Lab/Boxer mix, and my vet say's she has allergies because her hind paws are "itchy" and saliva stained with foul oder. My question is: wouldn't all her paws be itchy if this where the case? Anyone know? Oh, and great advertisement on your behalf! If I lived near your county you would be our Vet!
