  • wow,i didn't know they called them american chameleons,but rare color for a green anole.cool vid. :)

  • wow that one looks cool

  • That's an Anolis allisoni, or blue-headed anole, native to Cuba. Not to be confused with Anolis carolinensis, or green anole, native to the United States.

  • @azieruvega Nicely done you know anoles. I am in Miami we have the green carolinensis in the area and also seeing the Cuban green anole like the one in this video. The Cuban is slightly bigger and lovely colors and does not back down from the brown anole which our native green does.

  • Blue ANOLE??!!!!

  • @hkchoi456 no i seen then in miami change blue and then i catch then so they turn back to green and then a dark brown when stressed or ill,

  • loved it

  • its so beautiful!

  • im cuban and where im liv we call "Chispogo" In America Ppl Call Cuban Anole !! ;)

  • @cubanboy585 no thats a green anole in america we call knight anoles aka cuban anoles learn your lizards

  • @routtweirler The Cuban Knight anole is the big one that eats anoles . I know what you mean but there are more than one type of green anole.

In Miami I now see two types of green anoles. One is prettier with more blue/green colors it is the Cuban green anole again not to be confused with Cuban knight anole.

Than ofcourse we have the native green anole which is bit smaller than the Cuban green anole.

Than we also have the way bigger and stunning Jamaican anole

  • thats an anole lol

  • This actually looks like a rare green anole. Every now and then a breeding pair will have a defect in the offspring that makes them miss a pigment of coloration, making them yellow or blue :D

  • @SamTheDragon31 no i seen them that color but they change back to green when you start to handle them, and then dark when ill or stressed

  • hate to tell you but its not an American chameleon. Its a close relative called Anolis allisoni. And yes those are the real colors.

  • dont think im stupid but they dont turn blue

  • you are stupid

  • no they ony change to brown

  • yes this is an anole

    'American Chameleon'

this one did change colors so

    it seemed appropriate :)

  • @felixloveseat Actually they are only green and brown. It's just that this anole has a very rare mutation. It happens to 1 out of 20,000 anoles. The mutation can make it blue and yellow and green/blue and bleu/yellow,etc.

  • @felixloveseat but it isnt really a chameleon
