  • I have à tame magpi

  • Fantastic!!

They are the same as UK Magpies..... click my name to see one attacking a car wing mirror! :-)

  • willy wag tails are pure black.. unless other countrys have white in them?

ours in australia are smaller and fully black

  • @Divixons Thats the same kind of magpie you see in england.

  • those aint maggies !

  • @HotProperty83 they're american/candian/european Magpies australian magpies are in the same grouping of them (others include hawks, eagles, crows, ravens, magpies, emus and many other carnivorous and omnivorous birds)

  • aren't thos willy wagtails?

  • why bother with little kitty?

Aussie magpies go straight for those huge bipedal abominations.

  • magpies win!! cats suck, but thats a dangerous game to play!

  • These are Black-billed Magpies, a North American species closely related to crows. They build their nests mainly with large sticks, but they do take a famous delight in tormenting cats and dogs, as well as wild creatures. It seems to be simply for the pleasure of the game. A young or naive animal that falls for the game will waste a lot of energy in futile lunges.

  • Those aren't Magpies, they're Willy Wagtails!

  • I don't think those are magpies.

  • @DarkLittleMaiden Those are europian magpies, they look and sound diffrent then australian :) thru there braviry is the same. Other magpies subspieces are similar to those then australian

  • A video of two of the biggest killers of song birds!

  • Very very soon, cats will hopefully never be allowed out of the house, thanks to You Tube videos showing cats destroying wild birds. Cats inside the house, or taken away. All who agree, thumbs up!

  • Let me get this straight... You thought the magpies were attacking your pet cat & instead of calling the cat or scaring the magpies you thought "this will look good on youtube"?

You shouldn't just be banned from keeping animals. You should be banned from breathing.

  • @pjvenner please kill yourself.if you actually think that cat was any under danger

  • @pjvenner how overprotective are you? WHO THE HELL GOES OUTSIDE TO SCARE OFF BIRDS?!

the cat could have easily done that but probably curious about the attention as it was so passive...

    this was so harmless...

  • You let your cat kill birds? I've got a dog your cat should meet.

  • @WetRock11 ??? Did you even watch the video/read the title?

  • @corpsemunger Yes. Did you read the description?

  • @WetRock11 Apologies, I thought you were under a misunderstanding - whereas it was actually I that was under a misunderstanding!

Anyway, you do realize that it is impossible to let a cat run around outside without the possibility of it catching birds. I love birds and hated the couple of times my cat caught a bird... both times I took the best care I could of the bird and took it to the vets - my point is that I am not going to encage my cat in my house.

  • It's because the cat is sitting near the Magpies' territory. scientific research shows that magpies are much much more intelligent than other animals like cats and dogs.

  • @lottiesocks they are ravens, all ravens pass the mirror test and show the ability to have a conception of "I am" which is quite rare (except monkeys/apes (including humans), dolphins and elephants and a few others). I just love magpies, quite noisy the ones that live in my backyard, but they show some consciousness other animals do not show. Some people do not like that they prey on smaller birds, but I bet most people who say that are NOT vegetarians either. Raven birds in all forms rock :D

  • Now *that* takes nerve.

  • nigga moment

  • Magpies are very cheeky & audacious birds

  • I hate cats that eat birds. This cat deserved it very well. 'Sour Pie' more like. Keep it up magpies, who knows next time you might sh*t on the cat!!!

  • The cat is treating the birds like it would treat an annoying juvenile cat: lots of warnings followed by "just forget it, I'm out."

The cat didn't feel like it was under any serious attack, and the birds looked more like they were stealing fur.

  • stupid cat. Those bastards keep eating beautiful song birds. At least the magpies are attacking it.

  • die in a fire

  • She is relaxing cause she's digesting the member of their family she just ate,

    and they're upset !

The birds come to my window raising a fuss and crap on my car after my cat has gotten one of them,

while my neighbor's car parked right next to mine remains untouched !

I've seen this happen time after time,

they're not so dumb, they know what's going on and who's who !

  • they look more like currawongs, especially with those really long tail feathers.

  • Those are magpies, picapica.

    Sweden is infested with them

  • I think you'll find they are magpies mate, the one they have in the U.S are different to the ones we've got in Australia and NZ. They look nicer but they don't sing like ours do.But they're still called magpies

  • ...or eating its ticks lol

  • Guarantee that they are taking fur for their nests.

  • hahahaha omg that comment made me laugh sooo hard!!

its like they want a equvilant pillow made up of CAT fur instead of DUCK feathers that we have!! lolz

  • sweet, sweet revenge. xD

  • That is too funny!

     XD

  • Oh yeah! and it's not a cat it's a donkey.
