  • I thought bacon was full of pig myself. How do I tell if my bacon came from a chemistry lab and full of chemicals?

  • I wrote the "Fat Burning Kitchen" along with Mike Geary. And I, personally, do not need to lose weight, as I follow the diet I wrote about.

  • Hey! Have you thought about the Fat Blast Furnace (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate shed lots of fat.

  • Thanks Cat your right on the money, and you look fantastic! You are so beautiful. Well I tried both ways of dieting for bodybuilding contest and, I did look much better with 4 total eggs yoke and all with sprouted grain bread than I ever have with a higher grain diet. Found it easier to get ripped, felt stronger under the iron and testosterone is dependent on good saturated fats. I have now added coconut oil in with my butter. The great saying: It takes fat to lose fat is so true. BB Champ.

  • YES. This is exactly right. Search "Dieter JohnZ" to see me. I bought into the high-carb low-fat good fat/bad fat baloney for years, so unlike other commenters, I know from personal experience that this is right on the money.

Fran Lebowitz: If you're going to tell the truth, you better be funny. Otherwise they will kill you.

  • Butter and bacon are far better than unhealthy, high omega 6 oil such as vegetable oils. And yes you can and will lose weight eating butter and bacon, and whole eggs.

  • Butter..bacon? Are you serious? How about you tell people to eat monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats found in milk, nuts, whole grains etc... DO NOT eat bacon and butter if you want to lose weight... they are high in calories and bad fats. What a fucking joke.

  • ARE YOU SITTING THERE TELLING ME THAT PIECES OF FRIED BACON FAT IS BETTER FOR YOU THAN SOME WHOLE GRAINS?

  • This is definitely true. A person who eats four slices of bacon and two eggs each morning will be sated until dinner.

  • Wilford Brimley's breakfast:

    A dozen powdered doughnuts

Whole apple pie with 1/2 gallon of ice cream

And a bottle of sugar-free maple syrup (because he is trying to watch his weight)

    Breakfast of champions.

  • Awesome vid!

  • but are we mice thoe?

  • ok but were not mice

  • I have just eaten apple and banana during this. It has motivated me.

  • I was wondering...do you know yoga? If you do,can you do a video on that?

  • OK. I'll start feeding my mouse fat and protein for breakfast now.

  • You're awesome.

  • you remind me of sandy dunken from the ol' school barney and the backyard gang show...or the mom from the brady brunch X-x but besides that thanks for the info =]

  • She didn't specify which carbs, simple carbs or complex carbs. Complex carbs like oatmeal is a great hoice for higher metabolism and burning fat (along with daily cardio workout).

  • Eggs are great. Full of omega 3 (brain food). 6 grams of protein in one large egg. Dr Oz says they will not raise your LDC levels if you're worried about cholesteral. It's a staple in most bodybuilder diets.

  • The South Beach diet recommended eating eggs cooked in Pam or olive oil with some lowfat white cheese on top and a V-8. Worked for me!

  • Yes, there is a huge variety of opinions on breakfast foods. The best ones I have seen based on several studies and information I have seen over and over are to include a healthy protein and healthy fat including SATURATED fat-preferably a naturally raised type and chemical free. Yes, it's ok. If you are still afraid of saturated fats like grass fed butter, natural bacon and egg yolks, I highly recommend the movie, "Fathead".

  • @Catsfatburning

It's nice to see someone advocating this high fat high protein diet. I have been eating this way for the past few week and losing a lot of bodyfat around my midsection. Vince Gironda was my inspiration for this, but I am glad you have that study to back up what you are saying. I honestly feel so much better not having starches, and when I do have them, I get bad heartburn. Listen to what your body craves. Natural healthy real foods!

  • This has to be like the 50th video I've watched today, and it's amazing that everyone has a different idea of what to eat for breakfast!! I have no idea who to believe, but recommending butter and sausage just doen't sound right...

  • Sure wish I could afford meat that wasn't fill of nitrates or preservatives....

  • Eat a high fat breakfast if you want to be tired and sluggish throughout the day. Also what type of carbs are you talking about. refined or unrefined?

  • @brandonx19

High fat does not make you tired. To many carbs makes you want to go for a nap.
