dreams are still wierd when you come off. not too bad. the first week was bad. had my first nightmare in like 2 years. made me sit up and say "ah!". haha

I was on paxil had messed up dreams like trying to escape the 2 towers falling on me and right when i died in the dream i would jump up in bed coverd in sweat and my heart was in major pain it was like my heart wanted to peak so it could relax but it couldnt peak it was like having a heart attack i hate this drug it messed me up and changed who i was.

I spent three years on Paxil and it did not have any negative effects on me. My doctor took me off of it reducing the dosage over two months. He stated it was best not to take Paxil for more than a couple of years and if depression persists other therapies were available. I too had extremely vivid, bizarre, and often amusing (for me) dreams. They were also very long in duration and in bright colors. I found this vivid dreaming enjoyable although I can see others may be alarmed.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but the dream about the tsunami and your boy "supe" reminds me of what just happened in Japan for some reason. You should definetly keep posting and keeping tabs on your dreams.

i took paxil for several years.I tolerated it well,except for weight gain and impotence.But after finding out it contained fluoride,i stopped taking it.

FINALLY I AM NOT ALONE ANYMORE! I've been on Paxil and it sucks for me. It either works or it doesn't. Sometimes when I take it I can feel perfect for weeks and weeks on end and then one day... BOOM; I'm depressed again. I can't wait to get it switched. Oh and it gives me the weirdest fucking dreams ever!

drugs open up a gateway into the dimensions. shamans and witches and even satanists use drugs to open up portals into other dimensions. these kinda meds are very dangerous in that that can open u up to the DEMONIC REALMS and this is a sure fire way to POSSESSION! the dangers are that u will eventually not know the difference between what is real and what is not. this is why ppl are reporting abnormally violent suicide in prescription meds. like ppl stabbing themselves to death etc. God bless.

man ive been taking paxil for 8 years 20mg and sometimes i get the damn brain zaps even when ive been taking my paxil on a regular basis!!!! im going to catch hell if i have to quit taking paxil!!! i get the worst damn headaches of my life when i accident forget to take my paxil!!!! and also if i forget i get super super depressed and have crazy dreams and thoughts!!!!! this shit is as addictive as i hear heroin is i swear!!!!

I have the opposite reaction, I can take it every few days if I want and have no side-effects. If I get totally wasted, then I'm iffy the next day, but after that I'm fine. I do have to keep taking it just not even regularly/

I gain consiousness in the middle of the deepest sleep...i open my eyes sit up and am fully aware that i am dreaming.......i see patterns of colar and geometric shapes...........i think i am gaining consiousness while i get my nightly dose of dmt that our brain pumps out every night......does this happen 2 any of you? i take 40mg a day for the last year

I take Paxil and it seems my dreams are more weird. Also have more bad dreams. I've had 2 separate dreams where my tongue fell out and I tried to put it back in. WHEW!!

I was on Paxil five years ago, and when I withdrew, I had a nightmare that Jason Voorhees was chasing me and no matter where I hid, he always found me. Towards the end of the dream, I was on a bridge and I had to get across and all of a sudden I was flying in the air. How do you explain a dream like this. Fucking Paxil Sucks.

I believe that dreams are very symbolic; some situations I have encountered in life have re-played themselves in symbolic dreams. Also the ability to feel sensation such as flying or electrical energy have been experienced in my dreams. Lastly it is interesting how outside stimulus can play a part in dreams- after failing to get up and answer the phone, it began to "beep" every two min. to alert me of a message, but I fell back asleep and dreamt that I was searching for said "beep".

I myself have been on almost every "popular" antidepresant/psychotropic since the age of 17(I am now 37), but I am doing well with Paxil aka Paroxitine; Paxil is now my drug of choice....Have you watched "The Birth of Modern Psychiatry" or any footage of Carl Jung on youtube? Very interesting.
