Definitely should be a red card for the goalie. Check Harald Schumacher's foul on Battiston in the 1982 world cup semi-final. Almost identical to this and considered one of the biggest injustices in the history of football.

Interesting. Keeper clearly makes no play for the ball, leads with his legs/knee into the attacker, and takes him down hard. From this replay, it's easy to see it's a send-off offense. So what was the call on the field? I didn't see the referee, so I can't tell if he was properly positioned to make the call correctly.

I just noticed that is was the keeper. Typically the keeper has a different unifomr than the rest of the team.

That being said, he was the last man, and it was a dangerous play ending in a foul. However this was a very divided ball, both the forward and keeper run arisk for going after it. it couldve easily gone the other way had the striker done the same.

If this was already the second foul from the keeper, he's sent off.
