Love the Super 8 film. I just transfered a bunch of my old movies to digital and have been editing them to music as well. I have a bunch up on Youtube now as well.

For the transfer I projected it onto a projector screen and videoed it with a Canon miniDV camera. As for the stop motion, I shoot one frame at a time. You realize super 8 is film right? not to be confused with Hi8 video cassettes.

so to transfer from super 8 and get it on ur computer for editing u played the super 8 on the TV and filmed it with a digital camera? then edited from there? doesn't the digital camera have trouble recording a TV screen? mine does.

you don't play the film on a tv...you play it on a film projector and record the projected image.
