Bill Wilson, aka Bill W. remained an incurable addict to sex, nicotine, caffeine and women until the day he died.

Wilson was married to the same woman for 53 years while keeping a mistress and catting around, reports the New York Post.

He had an "inability to regulate his behaviour with women" and was "often accused of groping and unwelcome fondling,"

However, he was able to cover his bad behaviour with the help of grateful members of Alcoholics Anonymous whose lives he'd helped save.

I have 3 family members who are alcoholic and then AA. They all expected me to go to al anon. Nope. Their addictions, their abuse, their neglect, their problem. AA just allowed them to transfer their addictions and their self centered manipulations continue. No I am not going to al anon so I can be ok with their abuse. The abuse needs to stop and so do these cults that enable continued abuse.

Barry Pepper was amazing. He made me realize what babies Sober Alcoholics are as well as drunk ones. Barry nailed the role. Wynonna was great too. However this flowering up of these two as a couple while Lois sat around while BIll preyed on hundreds of new woman who came into AA. They didn't even mention his mistress of many years. What kind of honest story telling is that. Bill WIlson was a huge predator.

People need to know this because he was a model for a beahvior that exists with the majority of AA members to this day. never dealing with the core issues and transfering all of the addictions. narcicism and self absorption still ever present now coupled with an air of spiritual superiority from self denial.

You lose people to alcohol and then they dig a hole so deep in AA with this 'spirituality' they have two holes to now get out of. it takes what was once a chaotic mess of drunkeness, (which is easy to pinpoint) and adds a dimension of controlled madness.

While having a few extra copies of yourself around could get a lot more done, imagine the extra food, accommodation, and clothes they would need, let alone the? friction when one of them wanted to use your car or your girlfriend. See this movie on kookíca, you will like it.

Guess they forgot the part about how Bill cheated on Lois throughout their marriage, including after he quit drinking. I've always wondered how Lois felt when she found out he'd left 10% of his Big Book royalties to his favorite mistress.

Great, just great... Looking forward to see this magnificent story of Lois (and Bill) over here too. Thís time it would be really nice to have a dvd with subtitles in Scandinavian and other European languages, too. This was not the case with "My Name Is Bill W." - the dvd was available with Spanish and French subtitles only. Makes me sad because of the significance of The Fellowship for so many of us in Europe, too.
