You can go to the grassy area by the Embassy Suites Burlingame off Anza Blvd to view the planes landing over the Bay. On a clear day you can see down to the Dumbarton Bridge and up towards the city of San Francisco. Its a great place for a picnic. Then you can take the Embassy Suites shuttle to the International Terminal for Dinner while parking for free.
i do like boeing more than airbus but we got to look at this. both companies do the same thing they build better airplanes that can meet todays economy although boeing and airbus have been competing to build the next big thing. i think the whole world has to work together on building more fuel efficient planes just like the boeing 787 it was build buy alot of countries working together to do one thing, build a better aircraft.
Meh fuck the greenhouse gases. If you were eco friendly before, we wouldn't be having this problem now, would we? So it's YOUR fault. It's YOUR duty to undo it.
Funny how people compare airplanes knowing nothing about them. Boeing isn't any more American than Airbus is European. For instance: the B737 "Next Generation" and the A330 have the same engines: the CFM256, originally designed by Snecma (France) and jointly built by GE and Snecma. Look up CFM256 in Wikipedia. Other example: the electronics of the B787 is supplied by French firm Thales but the landing gear of the A380 is US made...
its a million times better than what ever plane you like! so shut up!!! the 757 is like the best thing that ever happened to every airline that has it.
wow TCNMAviator...you got a little excited there...I agree with you but don't let others opinion disgruntle you. Winglets ARE THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO THE 757 and 737. Whats next? The MD-80? lol u never know
not the MD80, But the Boeing 767-300!!! wohoooo Winglets for those will be sweet!!
>>AirChina981, everyone knows the 777 is the NextGen. i am talking about peoples favorite planes.. just because the 777 is new doesnt mean its everyones fav.
PS: Airbus sucks! dont even mention it. put more people in a plane.. when it crashes more people will die.
Agree with the Airbus crap. Airbus sucks. All they try to do is try to put as much people in a plane. Next thing you know is that a plane crashes. More people will die like that..
@sgrojr1 no the 737's flaps do not extend that much

I'm flying on AA 1047, a 757 from Miami to Aruba in September, in seat 24A. Is it a good place for filming??
JT041196 1 year ago
@JT041196 And seat is good for filming, as long as it's a window seat and you know how to capture the wing/engine.

Also, Boeings are more conventional. . . Sure, the computers do most of the flying, but Airbus takes all the fun out of it!
musicmanpilot123 2 years ago 2
this is true
planedude1 2 years ago 2
also more airbus crashes have been related to computer systems overriding pilot commands. leading to stupid accidents.

True, nothing better than a human. . . with a brain. . .

Agreed. Like my flight always taught me. New and Improved isn't always improved.

I think the boeing 757 is pretty cool, but why is it SO good for EVERY airline? Like, I'm not saying its bad but what's so special about it?

So I guess that by your views, the Boeing 747 is a terrible plane?
Colsworl 3 years ago
Everyone knows the 747 is awesome.. so why mention it :P hehe.
TNCMAviator1013 3 years ago
Your going on saying Airbus sucks because all they do is put as many people on a plane at once which could lead to more deaths if it crashed.
Well guess what that's the exact same thing the 747 was used for, to get as many people on board as possible.
Stop being such a hypocrite.

When did I ever say that? Of course the 747 is a great aircraft, I know it is. Where did I ever mention the A340 either?
You commented that Airbus sucks because they put more people in a plane and when it crashes, more will die. Well duh, that's A into B for you.
Tell me this. What was the purpose of the 747? It's the same idea that the A380 has.
Also, why do you possess such a bias? Why can't you be open minded?
