  • ww2 guns>modern guns :P seems to always shoot large rounds

  • ..., because of the jump of the rifle on a shot, only the first shot would come close to what they were aiming at, if shooting normal, hence they would shoot with the rifle sideways, so they would sweep when shooting! (at least that's what wifes grandfather said. He carried in ww2)

  • Due to barrel bending, and ammo, they didn't want them to use full auto tooo often!

  • Nothing says "Fuck you" like a BAR firing .

  • Man, 20 rounds goes quick!

  • I really want to get one. Ive heard it is pretty accurate as well, can anyone confirm that?

  • bad recoil:(

  • Hi guys, I'm Duff. It was indeed, my first time firing this awesome weapon. FYI, this rifle weighs 26 lbs. unloaded. Leaning into it much more may have well put the muzzle into the dirt. I was downright giddy just having the opportunity to handle this proud piece of American history. If you ever have the chance to do this, listen to the instructor carefully, and have a blast!!! LITERALLY!!!

  • @duff18xd Hey Duff, glad to see ya! If you want a copy of the vid, I can email it to ya, just need your email address. Have fun & stay safe!

  • @cykovisuals I'd love to have a copy to show off on my "crackberry". I don't have your e-mail and I really don't want to post mine all over youtube. If you're still on AZS maybe you could post something there, and we could pm each other for e-mail addresses. I'm still on there as duff18xd!

  • the guy with the firecracker popper at the end was priceless.

  • i think that person should lean in more..

  • Badass Automatic Rifle.

But why they cancelled the semi-auto mode? This gun has very high recoil, it would be better to shot in semi-auto than slow-auto.

Of course I can be wrong, I have never shot a gun so I don't know what really is required for a good rifle :)

  • @1337n1ck Usually one BAR gunner was assigned to a squad to provide supressive fire. I'm not sure semi auto would do much good in a situation where your firing to cover your men as they flank but I have heard this rifle is pretty heavy as well.

  • @1337n1ck While the BAR did have a select fire, it was between fast and slow automatic: In fast auto the BAR had a rate of fire of 750 RPM, in slow auto it was brought down to 350 RPM. This is slow enough for the shooter to fire one shot at a time by releasing the trigger as soon as the first round is fired, although in a battle one would want to get as much lead downrange as possible in a short period of time to provide covering fire for his squad to advance. This was it's intended use.

  • My Dad carried BAR in WW2..he never could control the muzzle lift....he never said much about it...but I think he preferred the M1 Garand best.

  • B.A.R. (Badass Asskicking rifle)

  • lol watch the amazing recoil on that :D

  • Met a old dude whom carried one of these going door to door when Berlin was over-run, met a Nazi officer whom emptied his "french" auto pistol at him...twice..I asked him why didnt you shoot ?said he was a " handsome looking bastard" with all those medals,& decorations I kinda forgot what I was doing until his last bullet struck me in my ammo pouch, then I realized that bastard was tryin to kill me, so I raised my BAR and gave him 20 rounds, then I took his gun(which he still has) & papers.

  • @mrsmelzbad cool story, that handsome bastard had bad aim, lol

  • @lexmark136 Thats what I said, he replied, that Nazi was shaking so bad he couldnt hold his pistol still, thank GOD he wasnt a cool one. Germans last round hit his bandalero, and his ammo belt fell around his ankles , like on cartoons, he said. Started laughing as Nazi was reloading the 3rd time. Then he "stitched him" because that fucker had a "your dead now" look.

  • @mrsmelzbad rolf... kinda makes you wonder why he took so long to shoot back with his bar... maybe he was also scared.

  • i wish this gun wasnt so hard to obtain where i live.

  • up, up and away to man aircraft gun. lol

  • See the kick from that BAR? This guys like a typewriter. Keeps kicking him back and then he has to reset himself. I will take a BAR anyday.

  • @YeshuaHamashiach777 lol go out and borrow a friends 30-06 semi hunting rifle and pull the trigger as fast as you can then imagine it 10x faster. thats a big round your sendin down field. plus the dudes like almost leaning back to start with not a very good stance for a gun like that.

  • @akagruntkiller

What he's in isn't even a shooting stance.

  • there are two automatic rifle sounds i love -- the prudent burst of the sa80 and the eat-this bap-bap-bap of a BAR...wish i could have both of those pieces someday.

  • pretty hard to shoot after the first 5 bullets, from the recoil

  • BAR stands for Browning Automatic Rifle.

  • LOL, what a noob, "Not a Browning" LMAO!!!

  • I don't like calling pepole dip shits but, dude... Your a dip shit

  • Ohio Auto ordanance was selling semi-auto versions of this rifle for $5500.00

  • 20 bucks gone in seconds, lol.

  • one of the greatest weapons ever..led the way for so many newer weapons..90 year old design..

  • That counterweight on the shooter seems to work wonders... ;-)

  • lean forward while shooting, how are you supposed to control a gun if you fall over?

  • Weebles wobble but they don't fall down.

  • people in war were alot better than us rofl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @wexkiller1 agreed...but i think we would all learn how to shoot good really quick if our live depended on it...

  • is slow auto or fast auto

  • It's obviously full auto :D

  • no he just has the worlds fastest finger LOL

  • Madonna quanto è bello!!!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME. I want of these bad boys.

  • be ready to shell out 20000 yes thats the right amount of 0s and thats for a semi auto only

  • it depends on condition of the gun, when it was made, how much it was used, etc. A brand new or in awesome condition one might go for 20k but thats a little much for semi auto.

  • the B.A.R is one powerfull rifle. I think it's one of the only, if not the only 30-06 machine guns. That would put someone on the ground in no time!!!!!!

  • Don't forget about the M1919 Browning! A buddy of mine has an SBR'ed version with a sidegrip, it is a monster! Another buddy of mine has one mounted to a monopod, you can check it out in my "Sugarloaf Mtn." video. Hopefully he has a larger cloth belt by now! They are very fun to shoot, hard to control, though, even affixed to a pod.

  • @PatVRulz There were other LMG's like the BAR that can compete with it, such as the Bren LMG.

  • but i dont think that it was his first shooting or maybe yes !! how did you guess that?

  • I know because I was there and that is what he told me. It is good to see that you are allowed internet access in Iran. Hello from the USA! :)

  • shit this guy can't control it carefully

  • It was his first time to ever fire the weapon... the BAR is a powerful rifle that fires the .30-06 cartridge and the multiple recoils can be hard to control sometimes.

I think he did just fine for his first time.

  • sweet
