he should care about what the Bible says bc it is a clear indication this conflict between jew and persian (since islam wasn't founded until 637a.d.) goes waaaaay back, and yes they do hate eachother

i didn't comment on who is right and who is wrong, i was commenting on why the Bible is important to the discussion. it gives some great historical evidence on the conflict

to simply wave it off given the topic and history is foolish

Well his point is still valid whether or not you think biblical era history is of any importance.

The reason the muslims are fighting with the jews is not about religious philosophy or what have you it is because right or wrong, as far as they are concerned, the jews stole their land.

Personally, I think the jews have more right to it, but I can understand why the people who are still around today who were forced out of Palestine might be a bit sore.

that is a foolish comment followed by an even more foolish comment "the jews stole that land, i don't care what the bible says..."

only a poor student of history would wave off the bible as it concerns the jew's and their land

@ineternitypast I thought I had read that the orthodox jewish writings said the jews would never have a state of israel that it would be like a sin.I'm certainly not an expert on it, nor am I trying to dispute what you said. I talked to a rabbi on the street in nyc that was protesting many years ago and he explaind something to that effect also.He said the jews were not really jews. I never did quite understand what that was about, thought it was strange coming from a Rabbi.
