@chocoolatina esto no es DELA GUARDA justamente por eso es tan loco, hace mucho que diki james se separo de pichon y creo fuerza bruta por su parte. contemos las cosas como son.
I just saw it yesterday. It's totally worth the money!!! It's very surreal. I guarantee you've never seen anything like it...unless you've seen other stuff by "Dela Guarda." It's orgasmic for the eyes!

just another aspect of our ipod society. purely visceral, no room for intellectualism, no academia. pure visceral pandering. they would love this sort of thing in NYC, as ive found out after having grown up in San Diego and gone to college in NYC. THey think they are liberals, but all new yorkers have the same opinion about everything. Those that dont are ostracised. this is the kind of faux-brilliant nonsense that these big city robots would enjoy.
You're such a moronic dipshit. NYC has 9 million people, and is one the most diverse places in the world. Maybe if you left whatever college campus you were on and met some actual New Yorkers you'd realize this. Go suck on Kant's dick.
Did you say the same thing about the circus when you were a child?
I find this work fresh, fun and exciting. It's a mixed genre spectacle: part circus, part dance, part new media. I love the way they involve the audience; it borders on edgy intimacy. I love the visceral quality. They take chances and the results are often beautiful. For those of us who appreciate highly visual and kinetic performance art, this group is pure bliss. I grew up in Atlanta. Very conservative city art wise.
How can u say that about a multicultural place like NYC, it makes your comment seem over simplistic. I went to Fuerza Bruta and I thought they made an excellent job. You should and probably your perspective may change. Get to know the world, different cultures and perspectives and be respectful. You only live once...
just another college student on the borders of cynicism because he feels it helps him stand out from the rest of the crowd. It really doesn't, merely fits him with the rest of the people who wish to be individuals but really fall under conformity under a new name.
I saw them last night in New York. Mind blowing!!!! I loved De La Guarda and this is even better. Can't wait for them to come up with another wicked show.
It's not glass, they actually lower it and you're able to touch it, it's basically a see-through plastic tarp, like the kind that would go on a pool over winter.
although i agree, I liked de la guarda more, I guess it was the live drummers and I felt there was more interaction with the audience. However, dont miss it really, and interact as much as you can! the more you let go, the more you'll enjoy it!
Those two shows are just incomparable, they are different experiences. Cirque du Soleil is fantastic as well but it's more acrobatic, storytelling and you are just an spectator.
FB is more interactive and no storytelling at all, it is more abstract. Like I said is more like a dream where not all of it makes sense, but you are part of it.
Saw the 10p show last night. I have to say I liked De La Guarda better. Although the show was highly unique and enjoyable, I remember De La Guarda being better. Favorites of the show were the two runners along the foil wall and the massive pool "slip-n-slide" and dive etc...
attended last night at 10 in the city, fuckin weird lol, very entertaining though lol, i'd recommend it if u like real bassy techno house music. o and u can take a little weirdness lol

I don't see why that guy made such a rough fuss of an argument, it was also severely fun if he hadn't noticed lol Turned into a rave. The best.
