I have compared two major manufactures of home organs, such as Lowrey and Roland Atelier, as I would prefer Wersi. Wersi is much easier to program than Roland Atelier and Wersi has better digital sampling than Roland Atelier. I like Lowrey organs as they are fun to play on, but the voices are not digital sampling as they are pure analog and also way too expensive.
This is an amazing performance on a fantastic instrument. It's a little late in life for me to own a Wersi, I just wish I had discovered how amazing this instrument is years ago. You are a terrific artist. Please, keep adding videos.
Nice sound generally on the 1st piece, but I would have chosen an electric piano sound for the lead, or something more muted than a full piano. The piano stop in this application is jarring. You could have gotten a bright electric piano or something with a milder attack. All the other sounds fit in nicely, though. 2nd one works better with that piano.
I played a Hammond B3 professionally on Bourbon St. in New Orleans so I know about organ performances. I know what a Wersi can do.
What I love about Wersi organs, that it is not limited to just being an organ alone. A synthesizer, tone wheel organ with a Leslie, and a digital piano or an orchestra. New Hammond are just limited to just the tone wheel clone and it goes the same for digital classical organs as they are limited to just a pipe organ. I want more for a digital organ. Allen Vista is have the best of both worlds.
I think Wersi sounds the best! Wersi keyboards is what I have been playing on stage with many bands for many years. Wersi are fun to play on and so much professional features too!
I say hats off to the guy! He loves what he does and thats what matters! Its all about pleasure. I play a Technics GA3 and dont use any of the automatic gimmicks - I want it to sound like me playing and not the machine. I'd really like to have a go on the Louvre though - I must say. Looks great! Well done mate - and keep on enjoying and sharing. Lets not be so negative and condescending. Lets have some respect!
For the Price I can own a large Allen digital Theatre with real organ sounds and more quality than this plastic junk. Wood keys, wood case, built quality.
This organ is not a piece of plasic. It is a beautiful instrument. I see that you enjoy playing, but i see also that you play as a beginner.
The problem with Wersi instuments is that they are outdated very quick (10 years). So this instrument costs you 5.500 euro a year, and that is a lot of money.
Try to remember, while you are playing this music that I REALLY LIKE, that most of the folks out there low rating your music probably couldn't play a radio let alone a musical instrument.
I just dont understand the wersi louvre thing, they are so expensive. What is special about the sound? How does it compare to a lionstracs or neko or even a pc running gigasampler? Every wersi performance sounds a bit like this, so you are among the best!
I know what you mean by the sound of these. It seems like one of the best sounding Wersi organs that I have heard on youtube is the one played by Florian on his channel GalaTM900. I don't know why his has such a rich sound, maybe it is the settings or stops he uses, or the lack of using so many, and plus the sound quality of his uploads. I think to much use of the electronic accompianment gives it a cheap sound
Is that a reason to down someone? The man is playing with both hands & using the pedals,so I can't understand why it would be said,"He's playing the instrument as a keyboard."
Before there were electronic organs, there was
the pump organ. Is the electronic organ any less of an organ than the pump organ?
Is a cell or cordless phone any less of a phone, than one that has a cord?
I hear a lot of background sounds, which are definately not played on the organ. I can't see the pedals being played either. In my personal opinion I think that is a bit of a shame. A keyboard could do this, especially the TYROS 2 with its digital sampler. I do prefer organs though. I wouldn't use an organ as a keyboard, but that is just my opinion. It doesn't mean this is wrong. It is just what I think. I hope that is okay.
To say "Bach is the to playing the organ..." is not fair, because not everyone is able to learn playing like Bach. One must not compare professionals and idealistic amateurs.
I also prefere the organ sounds, but of course "at home" it is nice to play around also with the orchestral sounds.
The audio quality of this video, not the audio quality the organ itself is able to produce, may seem to render gross injustice to this magnificient WERSI OAS instrument (one even Bach, were he alive today, would acknowledge as in the top finest "electronic digital" organs in the world), but just keep up the great work! We want to hear more, more and more performances from you ...

it is a nice instrument, but the pianosection is like and old casio (sorry).... I can understand that you are a very proud owner. But this has nothing to do with any kind of organ. It is a wunderfull piece of technique, but you never learn how to play organ with al this rythm things....
Bach is the way to playing the organ...
But the instrument: is very nice. Try the organ sounds, they are much better.... and sounds less digital!
If your interested there is a program that prints out midi to sheet music. I use Music Notate Seems to work ok. Printed out a couple of tunes. Hope you get the chance to listen to my two tunes I play on my Technics GX3, no where anywhere as good as yours, but I enjoy it. Don't play anywhere as well as you, but play for my own enjoyment.
Hi Thanks for the comment , I have been playing organ for about 38 years , I started on Hammonds , J100,T200 and then T400 and changed to Wersi Helios in 1986 after listening to Klaus Wunderlich.
