F1 should be encouraging innovation, side skirts, active suspension, ground effect, moveable wings,V6 to V12, whatever,F1 is boring because all the big teams win no matter what because they can afford to develop most within the confines the FIA set.If F1 allowed mad designers to run the show small teams would stand a chance because they could develop new ideas that might give them an advantage eg Lotus this year with their brake activated suspension being banned has harmed a small team
Along with the Ferrari tipo v12s that roared the 90's, the cosworth dfv which rumbled the 70's is unbelievably fantastic. Much better than the v10s and the v8s which have ruined the 00s/10s. Like this if you agree! :)
Ha ha ha ha ha!!! Understeer?!?! Understeer you say?!? What is this ficticious thing called understeer you speak of?? Ha ha ha ha h*...... (Woah! Hooo shit! Better watch those rear tires though. Yikes!)
I wonder what it would steer like especially when in oversteer? Does anyone know if the first set of front wheels stay parralel with the second set while turning or do the second (rearward set) turn at a different angle? Ah this is hurting my head lol just wonder if at any point if they "fight" each other, just trying to get my head around the steering geometry and not doing a good job of explaining lol.
I do love this car, it takes you back to when there was a fine design line between madness and genius and this car is both of those things at the same time.
Sometimes it blows my mind what people will race on, like this track for instance. I've seen driveways wider then it is, and just look at all those trees to smash into, just insane. The thing is I know if someone sat me in a car I'd push the living shit out of it on that same track, racers are fuckin nuts, and I'm a racer...was I should say, and survived to tell about it. Man he had that fucker out of shape, I'm amaized he was able to gather it back up, not real forgiving cars to cross up.
Great to see cars like these being pushed to their limits on the track, doing what they were built to do, rather than sitting idle in some museum. And great driving, also, I have to mention.
@GDH1981 - Yeah, and if you can hit your 'pause' button somewhere in the 30th second you can see just how crossed up he was - and amazingly it never even put him off his stride for a moment.
