  • Was this filmed with a potato?

  • those look like swanberg trucks

  • @jmecrg

Premay and swanberg are both owned by mullen so almost. lol

  • @harvesterofsorrow899 everyone seems to be owned by mullen now

  • @jaymehann

    They own a few companies.

I think Fuckin Losers In New Trucks still has them beat though.

  • @jaymehann

but if you want to count all the cabbage haulers, Trans Force has everyone beat & owns 3 big rig moving companies as well.

  • chuck norris eats that for breakfast

  • That is massive it looked big then i seen the back and couldn't believe it could be moved

  • yes they are

  • are these kenworth c500 trucks?

  • jesus christ, that thing is colosal

  • the one is just a baby with 46,000 rears the rest are tri drive i cant imagine 4 trucks all running in unison must take some smooth driving

  • That's the biggest team of "horses" I've ever seen.

  • looks like the sand crawler, the jawa's home.

  • look at the guy standing under that huge thing...if that thing flips hes going to be a smash potato for dinner lol

  • uss enterprise warp drive.

  • @nigelandbozena It´s a beltmover, it has belt that moves in this case dirt and rocks up to conecrusher, conecrusher is rock crusher that has rotating cone inside that makes stone very small.

  • Wow! Double Wow!

And is that trailer providing part of the drive, or are the engines in the trailer just used for steering.

I'm kinda surprised that they used trucks for this instead of bulldozers. I would think that traction on a gravel surface would have been more of a problem for the trucks at this low speed. The trucks didn't appear to have much weight on the drive wheels.

I suppose the angle of the cables provided some down force.

  • @JGMagoo The engines on trailers provides lift and steering.

Sometimes they can move empty trailers on even ground for perfect garco allingment. The hub of trailer is so small that it can´t have hydraulic motor mounted in it.

  • @felixchaus those are self propelled trailers. And yes ,as the name implies ,they move the load also.

  • @felixchaus The trailers under the piece are self propelled. The engines do provide lift and steering, but also movement.

  • @sgraese I looked the video again and those are trailers not only dollys,

Trailers can and move their loads. But dollys usually have so small wheel hubs that it can´t have enough big hydraulic motor that it could move heavy loads.

at least that´s what I´we heard.

Sorry about my english, too many sleeples nights on work.

  • @felixchaus the three units under the apron feeder are self propelled goldhofers. i work for a company and we have the same type of units. Any other questions?

  • now thats a heavy haul dam one big ass motherfucking load thats

  • the guy filming is nuts. if the cable snapped he is dead

  • you think the engine would blow its a fucking monster

  • thoughs two trailers with the engines are really cool, ive never seen one

  • they used something like that to move an overpass across the city .. it was on discovery channel

  • yup

  • is smitty still going out with the girl from the mine ?! haha

  • @338magbc hey - yeah smitty is living with that girl in alberta - I'm her :) just bought a house together and i'm running d11 dozers at a coal mine now. thanks for asking! Not bad for what was supposed to be a fling.... cheers!
