  • Karen - just wanted to let you know how inspirational your videos have been for me. I'm just starting my liquid pre-op diet today and check in and rewatch many of your videos for inspiration. I'm not even sure how to do the uploads for making videos (computer savvy I am not!) but I think it is a great way to document. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cooking videos and just want to thank you again for all your posts.

  • Doing great I'm down 60lbs and counting since May 3rd when I had my surgery. Just hard to get all the required protein in, which is 60-80 grams a day. Got any suggestions or tricks I could use?

  • Thanks so much for all your info. I had surgery 5/11/10. in Costa Rica.(3 hrs from home in Florida.) I have a problem getting all the protein in. Do I drink protein drinks a little at a time all day long. I feel great, but know that I should be having more protein. I have saved all your receipes & look forward to trying them. thanks again, you look great. marinemom1

  • WOW ONE YEAR, COngrats

  • love following your journey- the best educational vids!

  • Great vid, I favorited.... I see a lot of people eating a lot of carbs and I wonder if they really understand this stuff.

  • Karen, I just did a DNA test that determined if you should do low fat or low carb diet and came up low carb. So of course I bought a bag of mints... and gained a pound. I wonder where my head is sometimes! I know it is a struggle for me so why do I make it harder on myself? Rhetorical of course, those carbs are evil!!!

  • Great numbers! "These little bumps on my wrist" - LOVE IT! You are looking and sounding SO Great!

Yes, the snacking is the demon for all of us. Thanks again for such an honest video. You are teaching others who are considering this or are in their early post op time.

It's been a great year sharing this journey with you. I am proud to have you as a friend here on Youtube, and maybe someday in person, if I ever get to your neck of the woods.

    Keep up the great work!
