I agree, the story is the serpent riders from Heretic and Hexen, recruited armies of monsters from different fps games and the earthbound characters have to fight and save the universe.

@SandersonCallum Except only Paula exists. Yeah, it doesn't make any sense at all, and doesn't fit the theme of Earthbound in any way. Sounds like some kind of bizarre fanwank crossover.

Sadly not, SRB2 was based on Doom Legacy whilst EBD was based on EDGE another source port, different coding etc.
