Yes,Team Fortress 2 is much different from this classic one. It's not a shell of what it used to be,it's Team Fortress on whole different league.

The new one has a setting,class balance,extra items and tons of other things to make you interested into the game.It's not boring becouse it doesn't have the same action,it's becouse it's much more complex.But it has to be.Becouse before all you needed was guns and explosions,now you need inovation.I have to agree though,some free gamers PISS ME OFF

I was 15 and I use to play this with my friends and it really put a special place in my heart because I haven't seen them in 8+ years. Hell, I played this on my POS Pentium 1 computer.

TFC was good until they boosted the grenade damages, making any class perfectly capable of killing any other class (a buffed HWG, 151 HP 300 Armor, could get killed by 2 grenades and few shots by any class except Scouts). Wasn't surprised when we found out 2007-TF2 was grenade-less.

Also, scripts for easy conc jump killed any map with a flag, even the noobs would pick Medic over the Scout for the extra HP/Armor + HP regen + normal grenades, while it forced defenders to camp flagroom/doors.

However, The original people who worked on TF wanted to remake TF on the GoldSrc Engine.

And so came TFC
