@tummielvr This was from Shindig the tv show. Those are the house singers. They sang backup for all the acts that came on the show. Any groups with background singers, They replaced. Perhaps to give a sense of uniformity or create a "shindig" official sound. They were the Blossoms.

yeah tina belonged solo - like Cher when she first came out. i mean yeah the dudes got both of their careers launched, but ike = abusive and sonny = sang like a frog. im glad at least cher had a few albums in the 60s that were just "cher" but i dont think tina's name was ever seen without "ike and..." in front of it. she was so cool just solo. is this her debut or something, i mean when exactly did she come out? and same for cher, was it before '65 for her or... what. someone fill me in. plz.

Babe it is not bullshit. Ike has never ever performed behind a screen or backstage when he was with Tina. Either they performed together or he didnt perform at all. I get the from Tina herself since she said it in her autobiography......that she went on plenty of performances without Ike. Any band can play his music or they had a backing track. If you want to believe otherwise......I couldnt really give a damn! So if it makes you feel better then I am wrong you are right!
